The high school education,including the ordinary high school education and the secondary vocational education,connected by the primary education,the higher education and the social employment,is an important part of the entire education system.The high school education is a critical period in which students' physical and mental development is becoming more and more mature,besides,their subjectivity is increasing,and their world outlook,outlook on life and values are gradually formed.So in the high school education,the educational influence of teachers on students is particularly important that is achieved through the communication between teachers and students in high school.However,there are fewer related studies.Therefore,this study uses the field research method to explore the concept,content and methods of the communication between teachers and students in high school.The purpose of this study is to explore the communication between teachers and students in high school.Firstly,according to the theory of teacher-student communication and the existing research results,the concept of the communication between teachers and students in high school is defined.Secondly,it is the field investigation on the communication between teachers and students in high school that deep into Y class in the third grade of Z high school,use participant observation and in-depth interview methods to collect first-hand information about the communication between teachers and students in high school.Then sort out and analyze the various types of collected information to describe the reality of the communication between teachers and students in high school.Thirdly,summarize the positive performance and problems,and explore the specific reasons that affect the communication between teachers and students in high school from different angles.Finally,according to the theory of inter-subject communication between teachers and students,reflect on the problems and reasons of the communication between teachers and students in high school,and propose appropriate suggestions.The main points are as follows.Firstly,according to the theory of teacher-student communication and existing research results,the concept of the communication between teachers and students in high school is defined.The communication between teachers and students in high school refers to the process of cognitive communication,interpersonal communication and emotional communication is achieved between teachers and students through the use of verbal or non-verbal symbolic systems in the teaching activities of ordinary high school education.The purpose is human developments that are the physical and mental development of high school students and the professional growth of high school teachers.Secondly,organize various types of materials from field investigations,and specifically describe the performance of high school teachers and high school students in educational activities.The communication between teachers and students in class is mainly described from four aspects,including students do sharing and teachers give feedback,the teacher dictates and the student performs shorthand,teachers and students ask each other questions,students' disciplinary behavior and teacher's management behavior.Besides,the communication between teachers and students outside the classroom is mainly described from four aspects.There are students' examination and teacher's voice,teacher response to the incidental events,student activities and teacher participation,greetings and responses between teachers and students.Thirdly,it is in-depth analysis of various types of materials from field investigations,summarizing the positive performance and problems of the communication between teachers and students in high school,and exploring the underlying causes that affect the communication between teachers and students.The positive performances of the communication between teachers and students in high school include:high school teachers have a preliminary understanding of the theory of teacher-student communication,cognitive communication is an important content of communication,and verbal communication is the main form of communication.The problems existing in the communication between high school teachers and students include:the insufficiency of inter-subject communication between high school teachers and students,the neglect of interpersonal and emotional communication,and the lack of deep non-verbal communication.The underlying reasons that affect the communication between high school teachers and students include:the influence of the high school teacher education system(the application system of pre-service teacher is not perfect,the education content of pre-service teacher is not comprehensive,the high school teachers are not suitable for entry stage,the education system of teacher post-employment is imperfect).Then it is the influence of school-tested education management(the constraints in college entrance examination,the constraints of leadership education management,and the influence of high school teaching organization).The last is the influence of high school teachers' own factors(different occupational orientation,lack of educational literacy,and differences in educational wisdom).Fourth,according to the theory of inter-subject communication,reflect on the problems and reasons of the communication between teachers and students in high school,and propose appropriate suggestions.The intersubjective communication between teachers and students in high school pursues the intersubjectivity of high school teachers and students,the comprehensiveness of the content of communication and the effectiveness of the way of communication.In order to achieve the intersubjective communication between teachers and students in high school,the level of teacher education should improve the high school teacher education system,strictly regulate the admission system,strengthen the education of teacher-student communication,solve the problem of employment adaptation and improve the post-employment education system.It is necessary to deepen the teaching reform of high school education(implementing education policies and objectives,strengthening scientific and democratic management,improving the school education environment.Then promote the professional growth of high school teachers.The high school teachers should enhance their unique personality charm,improve the comprehensive literacy of education and pursue the wisdom of teacher education.The innovation of this research is based on the current research,carrying out field research on the communication between teachers and students in high school.Based on the life of high school and students' physical and mental development characteristics,understand the communication between teachers and students in high school from a more objective standpoint.This paper provides a reasonable explanation for the communication between the teachers and students in high school and deeply reflects on it to make a small contribution to the development of teachers' education theory and practice.
