Literacy and writing teaching has become an important teaching content throughout the compulsory education stage.However,there are many fallible characters in the Chinese characters that pupils memorize and write.The students' mastery and application of fallible characters are worrying.The third period is the last period of primary school.Students still can't master the fallible words very well and often write them wrong.Therefore,how to carry out effective teaching of fallible words and avoid students' writing errors have become a subject worthy of study.In this study,students from three classes in Grade 5 and three classes in Grade 6 of the M primary school in Haidian District of Beijing were investigated.Then,this study investigates and analyzes the students'mastery of fallible words and their cognitive status by using the methods of questionnaire survey,observation and interview.Meanwhile,this study further analyzes the reasons for the existence of fallible words,and on this basis puts forward the teaching strategies of fallible words.In this study,when investigating the current situation of learning fallible words of high school students in M primary school,we analyze the students' mastery of fallible words in terms of the number,type,repetition and the degree of students' writing errors.We find that many students write wrong words.The types of fallible words are various and complicated.And students often have the problem of writing errors.At the same time,this study investigates the current situation of students'cognition of the fallible words.It finds that students pay more attention to the learning of the fallible words in their thoughts,and consciously solve the problem of the fallible words by summarizing the fallible words and other methods.However,no efficient learning method has been explored,and the effect of learning the fallible words is not ideal.There are three reasons for the formation of fallible words.Firstly,there are many homophones and complex characters in Chinese characters due to their own characteristics.Secondly,teachers neglect the teaching of fallible Chinese characters in terms of teaching objectives.And teachers have single teaching methods and lack of knowledge of Chinese characters.Thirdly,students are affected by cognitive psychological characteristics and bad learning habits.Based on the characteristics of Chinese characters,this study proposes three teaching strategies.They include understanding and memorizing from the source of Chinese characters,distinguishing the Chinese character's font and pronunciation for comparative memory,associative memory by analogy.At the same time,based on the current situation of teachers' teaching and students' learning state,this study puts forward five teaching strategies.These strategies include:stimulating students' learning motivation,correcting their learning attitude,cultivating students' habit of accumulating fallible words,carrying out various activities to create a learning atmosphere of fallible words,and strengthening the cooperation between home and school,class and class.These strategies are expected to help students reduce the number of fallible words.
