As one of the four fields in the "Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard (2011 Edition)" ,"Statistics and Probability" is the main content of the students’ data analysis concept, which has become a hot topic in mathematics education in our country.In this paper, the second paragraph of the Jiangsu Education Press Edition and the People Education Press Edition textbook of the "statistics and probability" is comprised. By reading the literature, interpretation of curriculum standards, analysis of textbooks and other means, I get the following conclusions:(1) Two versions of the textbook system with their own characteristics:① In the chapter arrangement, the two versions of the textbook in the second semester "statistics and probability" in the field of the same number of units, but the specific arrangements Shanghais education in the semester set more balanced, while the Soviet version of the set of relatively concentrated.② In the specific content of the set, the subject content is basically the same,slightly different, in the number of knowledge points, the Soviet Union version of more than education version.③ In the presentation, the two versions of the textbook and no significant differences, and more way to show the picture(2) In the breadth of knowledge, there is a significant difference in the breadth of"statistics and probability" between the Jiangsu Education Press Edition and the People Education Press Edition textbook. The number of knowledge points significantly higher than the People Education Press Edition number, but the background factor is lower than the People Education Press Edition textbook.(3) In the depth of the content, the People Education Press Edition textbook of the average depth slightly larger than the Jiangsu Education Press Edition. Both versions differ slightly in the distribution of content and the distribution of cognitive levels.(4) Exercises set the two versions in the number of exercises and exercises on the difficulty are different:① In the number of exercises, the amount of teaching more than the Jiangsu Education Press Edition, which set the subject of the chart was significantly more than the Jiangsu Education Press Edition, but in the possibility and statistics - the average of the two theme content Less than the Jiangsu Education Press Edition. Both versions do not focus on the interrelationship between statistical and probabilistic knowledge in the field, and the two parts of the problem setting are fragmented.② In the difficulty of the exercises, from the comprehensive difficulty, the Jiangsu Education Press Edition is relatively more balanced, and the human education version of the background factors are more focused.Furthermore,the author gives the compiling and the teachers on line some recommendations binding the study with the conclusions of the two versions.This paper focuses on the situation and differences in the field of "statistics and probability" in the second semester of the textbooks of primary school education.There are still some problems to be studied in the implementation of teaching. It is hoped that this study will play a role in the comparative study of primary school textbooks.
