| Teachers’ professional development is an inevitable trend of teachers’ education and development,and also a subject with practical theoretical significance brought out by the current educational reform practice.The professional standards for secondary school teachers(for Trial Implementation)issued by the Ministry of education in 2012 are important basis for teacher training,access,training,assessment and other work.However,the professional development level of physical education teachers has not achieved the expected results.Especially the new physical education teachers,as an important part of physical education teachers,represent the new force,and the professional development of the new physical education teachers is particularly important.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the current situation and obstacles of the new physical education teachers’professional development,and put forward corresponding strategies to help the new physical education teachers out of the dilemma of professional development.At the same time,it can be used for reference for all kinds of teacher training.In addition,it can also provide a practical reference for the construction of the teaching staff of education departments and schools.This research adopts the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire and mathematical statistics to investigate the current situation of the professional development of new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou from three aspects:professional concept professional ethics,professional knowledge and professional ability.Meanwhile,it investigates the obstacles,ways and methods of the professional development of new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou.The research conclusions are as follows:1)The overall structure of new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou is more reasonable.It mainly shows the following aspects:the number of new teachers is relatively balanced between men and women;the number of employees is relatively average each year;the educational level is relatively high,more than one third of new teachers are graduate students;the structure of professional titles is in line with the development trend.However,the workload is large and the results are less.2)The new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou have a high standard of professional ethics,and their professional ideas need to be strengthened.3)The new physical education teachers of junior middle schools directly under Suzhou City have good professional knowledge of PE,and the level of education knowledge,subject teaching knowledge and general knowledge is average,and the learning situation after work is average.4)The overall professional ability of new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou city is at the upper middle level,with strong professional ability,but there are still problems:the basic skills of teachers are generally practiced;in terms of teaching ability,teaching methods and methods are not rich enough,teaching design ability is poor,there are problems in the process of teaching implementation,teachers’ language ability needs to be strengthened systematically,and information technology application The ability is better,but the utilization rate is low;in the aspect of scientific research ability,the spirit of exploration is not enough to form scientific research results,and the scientific research ability needs to be improved.5)The main internal obstacles to the professional development of new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou are:lack of initiative,lack of goals and directions,and great pressure on work.The main external obstacles are less opportunities to participate in teaching,research and further education and lack of expert advice.6)The new physical education teachers in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou City adopt the main development way of professional learning and peer exchange,and the effect is obvious;the main methods are teaching discussion and apprenticeship.In view of the current situation and obstacles of the professional development of new physical education teacher in junior middle schools directly under Suzhou City,this paper puts forward;1)At the government level:improve the training system for new teachers,organize teaching competitions,and invite experts for guidance.2)At the school level:reasonably arrange the workload,strengthen the assessment system,the incentive system of teachers and apprentices,strengthen the scientific research guarantee,and strengthen the school-based cooperation and exchange.3)Teacher level:active learning,career planning,time management,scientific research activities and sports habits. |
