In the Chinese curriculum standard,the importance of self reading is emphasized,and the reading quantity of each grade segment of primary school is clearly specified,which requires that the first learning segment should be no less than 50000 words,the second learning segment should be no less than 400000 words,and the third learning segment should be no less than one million words.Thus,it can be seen that the cultivation of students' autonomous reading ability is very important.Although the curriculum reform has been carried out for many years,there are still many problems in the teaching of primary school students' Chinese reading ability.Through the questionnaire survey of 400 students and 30 Chinese teachers in four primary schools in Shouguang City,this study obtains the current situation of Chinese autonomous reading ability of senior students in Shouguang City,analyzes the problems and causes,and tries to put forward effective improvement countermeasures according to the requirements of the new curriculum for the cultivation of reading ability of senior students in primary schools.This paper consists of five parts: the first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,and the research methods.The second chapter is the theoretical construction of Chinese autonomous reading,from the theoretical basis of autonomous reading,the characteristics of autonomous reading,reading cognitive characteristics of senior primary school students.The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of primary school senior Chinese autonomous reading ability.It analyzes the causes of the problems from four aspects: school,teachers,parents and students.It is also the basis of the demonstration of the main part of this study.The fourth chapter is the main part of this study.According to the current situation and reasons,combined with cases and experience,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from schools,teachers,parents and students to solve the problems existing in the cultivation of the independent reading ability of senior primary school students.Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the main points of this paper and the shortcomings of this study.There is still more research space for the teaching strategy research of Chinese autonomous reading ability training in senior primary school.I believe that more researchers will pay attention to and join in this research,because the research of autonomous reading ability is related to the cultivation of students' Chinese core literacy.
