Starting from the concept of educational anthropology,this study uses the field survey and cross-cultural comparative research methods,taking Wenchuan County as an example to explore the significance,problems and solutions of basic music education in multi-ethnic areas under the background of modernization and multiculturalism.The first chapter,the situation of ethnic identity before and after the Wenchuan earthquake,explains the relationship among society,education and ethnic identity,and believes that the change of social environment promotes local ethnic music education.The second chapter describes the five schools of ethnic minority music education classroom,and through comparative analysis of their problems,that the main problem is the lack of education of other cultural music.In the third chapter,based on the theory of multicultural integrated education,the author puts forward some opinions on how to improve the basic music education in multi-ethnic areas from the aspects of cross-cultural ability training,cultural choice right,music ability training,discipline system development,etc.This paper puts forward that the basic music education in the multi-ethnic areas in the modern society should not only aim at inheriting the traditional national music,but also pay attention to the cultivation of children's cross-cultural ability,so that children can understand themselves,understand others,respect each culture,and have the ability to adapt to other cultural music;In the multi-cultural environment,not only educators have the right to choose music culture,but also children should have the right to choose their favorite music culture after experiencing a variety of music culture;In music education,we should not only pay attention to the change of educational ideas brought by the differences in multi culture,but also pay attention to the cultivation of children's music literacy;Study the music education system suitable for multi-ethnic culture.
