With the progress of the times and the improvement of education level,science and technology have developed rapidly.Although the improvement of science and technology makes our material life increasingly rich,but people's spiritual world is increasingly scarce,the quality of life has not been improved.At present,in the youth group,there are more and more misogyny and suicidal behaviors,and the tendency of younger age is more and more obvious,even including primary school children,which can not be ignored.The primary school stage is just the period when the world outlook and outlook on life are just established,which is the key period for the growth and development of human life.However,the students in this stage lack the corresponding understanding and attention to life and self,so it is very necessary to carry out activities and courses related to life education for primary school students.This study is divided into three parts: the first part is based on the analysis of previous literature,combing the current situation of the opening and implementation of life education courses,summarizing the previous research results and shortcomings.In the second part,we use the "piers Harris children self-awareness scale" to investigate 280 senior students in two primary schools in Tianjin,in order to understand the overall level of self-concept development of senior students in primary schools,and compare the differences in demographic variables.The third part is on the basis of the first two parts,combined with the existing life education curriculum related research,the development of "cherish yourself" as the theme of life education curriculum,in the sixth grade s class for two months a total of six curriculum implementation.The following conclusions are drawn:1.The development of self-concept of senior primary school students is not optimistic.According to the survey,nearly one third of the students are at a low level of self-concept.2.The self-concept of senior primary school students is significantly different in gender: the overall self-concept level of female students is higher than that of male students,and there is significant difference in the dimension of behavior.There is no significant difference in the total score between the only child and the non only child,and there is no significant difference in each sub scale.3.Through the implementation of "cherish self" life education course,it has a positive impact on students' self-concept: there are significant differences in the total score of self-concept,physical appearance and attributes,anxiety,behavior,intelligence and school conditions.Based on this study,the following suggestions are put forward for the primary school to carry out life education: first,for the school,it is necessary to build a perfect life education curriculum system,and strengthen the construction of the teaching staff;for the teachers,it is necessary to change their own education concept,have rich professional knowledge and full of enthusiasm for life;for the parents,it is necessary to actively cooperate with the school work and participate in the school The parent's meetings and symposiums are organized to form a joint force with the school in life education,so as to promote the healthy growth of students.
