In recent years,with the large-scale publication of picture books and the constant recognition of their value,more and more schools have begun to offer picture book courses.However,from the existing literature research and teaching practice,the degree and level of picture book teaching in primary schools in various regions is spotty.The most important reason is that there is a problem with the design of the teaching objectives of picture books in primary schools.At the same time,the new curriculum reform puts forward new requirements for teachers' teaching goal design.In this context,whether the design of picture book teaching goals for elementary school teachers is advancing with the times is worth studying.In order to understand the real situation of the design goals of picture books in the lower grades of primary schools,the author takes picture books teaching of W Primary School in Dongsheng District,Ordos City as the research object,and uses questionnaires,interviews,classroom observation and other methods to design picture book teaching and picture book teaching goals from teachers.Surveys in terms of knowledge,presentation of picture book teaching goals,and implementation status,to understand the current design and implementation of picture book teaching goals for lower grades in elementary schools today.Through data analysis,it is found that the problems in the design of picture books for lower grades in primary schools are mainly: insufficient understanding of teachers' picture books teaching;weak design awareness of teachers' picture book teaching goals and irrational design of teachers' picture book teaching goals.The main causes of the analysis are: the teacher's idea of picture book teaching is not updated in time;the teacher lacks awareness of picture book teaching goal design;the teacher lacks theoretical knowledge of picture book teaching goal design and the teacher lacks ability to set picture book teaching goals.In response to the above-mentioned problems and causes,combined with case analysis of excellent picture books teaching by famous teachers and related literature research,the author proposes countermeasures for the improvement of the goal design of picture books in the lower grades of primary schools,which mainly include the following five aspects: attach importance to picture books teaching goals,and play the role of goal design;teachers 'learning consciousness,multiple interpretation of picture books;grasp the characteristics of students' stages and enhance the relevance of goal design;build a picture book teachingsystem with schools as carriers;strengthen detection and reflection,and promote the effective implementation of goals.
