Research On The Value Orientation Of "Republic Textbook·New Chinese Literature"

The establishment of the Republic of China brought profound changes to our society,and our education began to move from traditional education to modern education.In order to get rid of the feudal education centered on loyalty to the emperor and respect to Confucius,the government of the Republic of China published the educational purpose in September 1912,which banned the textbooks issued by the ministry of education of the Qing dynasty and required the compilation of textbooks in accordance with the purpose of the Republic of China,The commercial press organized experts to compile the the Republic Textbook New National Language and the supporting professor books,is known as the textbook giant.This study attempts to explore the value orientation of the textbook and through the analysis of the value orientation of the selected articles,it is expected to inspire the current textbook compilation and Chinese teaching.In this study,the value orientation was used as the entry point of the Republic Textbook New National Language.The basic framework of the previous value orientation research was sorted out using content analysis and literature research methods.Law as a basis to establish a more reasonable analysis framework,that is analyze the text of the textbook Republic Textbook New National Language from the perspective of political value,humanistic value,scientific value and classic value.Then analyze the main factors influencing the value orientation of Republic Textbook New National Language from three aspects:economy,culture and power.This study believes that the editors of textbooks have a close relationship with the social status and are affected by various factors such as current politics,economy,and culture.Republic Textbook · New National Language generally shows a clear political value orientation,focusing on nationality,civil rights,and people’s livelihood,the moral value orientation is relatively clear,focusing on the cultivation of humanistic ideas;the scientific value orientation is obvious;the classic value orientation is outstanding.It is recommended to improve the literacy of Chinese textbooks in the compilation of future textbooks,to be life-oriented and child-oriented,and to optimize the proportion of classic value orientation.
