The practice of local textbooks,which appeared in the late Qing Dynasty,has a history of one hundred years in China.After the founding of the Republic of China,the practice of local textbooks,including frontier areas,continued to advance.By the time of the Nanjing National Government,the practice of local textbooks in the educational field of local schools in the frontier areas was very active,and a large number of literary achievements of Frontier Local textbooks remained in the world.The development of the practice of local textbooks in the border areas of the Republic of China is closely related to the process of institutionalization of local textbooks in the border areas of the Republic of China.This study takes the rural textbook system in the border areas of the Republic of China as the research object,describes the evolution process of the institutionalization of the rural textbooks in the border areas of the Republic of China,combs the main contents of the rural textbook regulation in the border areas of the Republic of China,and on this basis,summarizes the historical significance of the rural textbook regulation in the border areas of the Republic of China and its impact on the construction of contemporary local textbooks.This study includes four parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the relevant research trends at home and abroad,the purpose and significance of this study,research ideas and methods,etc.Chapter 1 "Institutionalization of Frontier Local Textbooks: Practical Activities of Ancient Education Integrating Local Knowledge" combs various kinds of local knowledge learning and education activities independently carried out by local society before the establishment of the local textbook regulation in the late Qing Dynasty.They are educational practice activities with the nature of local textbook practice before the emergence of the local textbook regulation and before the Frontier Local textbooks.The period of institutionalization.Chapter 2,"The Fostering of the Border Local Textbook Regulation: the Beginning of the Local Textbook Institutionalization",analyses the historical position of "Kui Mao School System" in the process of the Border Local Textbook Institutionalization,that is,"Kui Mao School System" is the first regulation document in Chinese history which stipulates that "school education should be integrated into local knowledge" from the national level,and provides a combination for the practice of school education local textbook in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.The basis of legalization marks the beginning of the institutionalization of local textbooks.Chapter III "The Formation of the Border Local Textbook Regulation: the Main Dimension of the Border Local Textbook regulation" analyses that the Second Section of the Ministry of Education of Mongolia and Tibet is the beginning of the institutionalization of the Border Local Textbook.It combs the Border Local Textbook Regulation from the basic principles of the development of the Border Local Textbook,compiling institutions,content items,the scope of application,compiling requirements and the main body of the Border Local Textbook regulation.The basic content of degree.Chapter IV "The Historical Orientation and Contemporary Impact of the Border Local Textbook Regulation" summarizes the historical achievements of the Border Local Textbook Regulation of the Republic of China and its impact on the construction of contemporary local textbooks.
