Early childhood sex education is a guide to the implementation of children on the source of life,understanding of human sexual organs,understanding of gender role differences and learn to protect their privacy.In 3 to 6 years of age and young children period,critical period of development,proper sex education for young children to meet the psychological needs of children in the phallic stage for children form good sexual idea,sexual attitude,with regular sexual psychology,so as to promote the development of young children's physical and mental health,form a sound personality,so the implementation of sex education in kindergarten of young children's healthy growth is of great significance.But the present situation of kindergarten sex education is not optimistic.Therefore,this study tries to use picture books,which are favored by preschool teachers and children,as the carrier for implementing children's sex education,to explore the feasibility and effective strategies of implementing children's sex education by using picture books,so as to provide reference basis and practice for preschool teachers to carry out sex education activities.This research adopts the method of action research and selects a large class of a public kindergarten in Songjiang district of Shanghai as the research object.Before the implementation of the action research,the subjects before the progressive cognitive level of measurement,and through the experiment class into two groups,surrounding the source of life and love of knowledge and health education,sex education and sexual role awareness education and privacy protection and safe sex education four children's sex education theme,chose eight painted this related to sex education early childhood sexual education collective teaching activities.Through the action research process of planning,action,reflection,re-planning,re-action,re-reflection of four big cycles of action and eight small cycles of action,the research conclusions are drawn around the research issues.The results show that the application of picture books in early childhood sex education is feasible and can effectively improve children's sexual cognition level andimprove their sex-related behaviors.Using picture books effectively carrying out early childhood sexual education needs from the choice of picture books,picture books teaching design and the implementation of the picture books teaching in three aspects: in terms of the choice of picture books,should accord with the requirement of the theme of children's sex education,but also suitable for young children's physical and mental development characteristics and development needs,to meet the criteria of good picture books and requirements;In terms of the teaching design of picture books,the following two points should be done: one is to adjust the contents of the relevant picture books according to the needs of the sex education theme;the other is to design the relevant picture book teaching activities based on the principle of hierarchy from the shallow to the deep;In the implementation of picture books teaching,a strategy is in the process of implementation of sex education always adhere to the positive sexual attitude and strategy is rich picture books teaching strategy,help children understand picture books,strategy is to use the full story "--the prototype,play to the role of the outreach activities,strategy is a reasonable use of the area Angle,four encourage children to read.Based on the research conclusion,this paper puts forward the following Suggestions: first is the kindergarten,to pay attention to the value of picture books in the implementation of early childhood sexual education activities,for preschool teachers to provide professional training and opportunity,sexual education for preschool teachers to provide plenty of teaching materials,should attach great importance to the guiding role of children's parents,strengthening the cooperation of the home;Secondly,the preschool teachers themselves should have the initiative consciousness and reflective consciousness of using picture books to implement sex education for children,improve their ability to interpret the relevant picture books,and improve their ability to grasp the opportunity of implementing sex education.
