In the 2009 and 2012 PISA tests,Shanghai ranked first in reading,maths and science among the 65 participating countries and regions,and its average score of613 was far higher than that of British students(496).The PISA results have prompted a lot of discussion and reflection in developed western countries,which have started to consider learning from Shanghai.In August 2014,the department for education officially launched the "China-England maths teachers exchange programme",which aims to reform the quality of maths teaching in the UK.The teaching of "number and operation" is a compulsory course of primary school courses at home and abroad,an important carrier to cultivate students' computing ability,and an important channel for students to apply the mathematical knowledge they have learned to the reality.Therefore,this paper takes the teaching of "number and operation" as an example to study the localized implementation of mathematics teaching experience in Shanghai primary schools in the UK,and intends to solve the following problems:(1)What are the problems existing in the implementation of English localization of mathematics teaching experience in Shanghai primary schools?(2)On the basis of joint discussion and research with teachers from British schools,can we find the method of localized implementation in the "number and computation" teaching section in the UK,so as to establish the relevant teaching mode?(3)Can relevant teaching strategies be formed from the new teaching of knowledge points,consolidation and improvement,exercise design and practice evaluation,etc.?The research methods of this paper are mainly literature research and action research.By referring to relevant literature,the author sorts out the differences between mathematics education and teaching in Chinese and English primary schools,the problems existing in the implementation of education localization at home and abroad,and the teaching strategies related to Numbers and arithmetic.Through the four main links of planning,action,observation and reflection,taking the three lessons of "bit value map","full ten Numbers plus one digit" and "understanding100" as examples,this paper conducts an action research and analysis on the process of localizing the mathematics teaching experience of Shanghai primary schools in the UK.According to the result of action analysis results,students homework feedback analysis,interview result analysis,and the teacher after class reflection,starting from the research questions of this article,get the following results: Shanghai elementary school mathematics teaching experience of the localization effect is good,the students' classroom participation has obviously improved than before,and an increased interest in learning,understanding of the noumenon of mathematics knowledge and master degree deeper and wider.At the same time,through the classroom practice research,the following points about the Shanghai mathematics teaching experience in the United Kingdom localization implementation of enlightenment:Bridging the gap for new knowledge preparation;The review of the introduction,small steps forward;Change form consolidation,deepen understanding.
