Future orientation refers to the individual's cognitive preference and volitional action tendency towards future time,as well as the subjective emotional experience formed on this basis.Research has shown that future orientation is significantly related to academic achievement.Academic self-efficacy is the embodiment of self-efficacy in the academic field,and it is the subjective evaluation of individuals on whether they have the ability to complete the academic tasks.Previous studies have shown that academic self-efficacy is significantly correlated with academic performance.In order to explore the relationship between the development of middle school students' future orientation and their academic self-efficacy and academic performance,this study used two questionnaires,the youth future orientation questionnaire and the academic self-efficacy questionnaire,as measuring tools.A total of 1,000 questionnaires were distributed to four township middle schools in a city of guangxi by cluster random sampling,of which 936 were valid.SPSS software was used to analyze the data and the research conclusions were as follows:(1)Rural middle school students have low future orientation and a good sense of academic self-efficacy.(2)There is no significant difference in the total score of future orientation,future cognition,future emotion and future will action of middle school students from different genders,but there are significant differences in the two factors of density and optimism.Compared with girls,boys have higher frequency of thinking and more optimistic emotional experience about the future.(3)There are significant differences in academic self-efficacy and achievement among different gender township middle school students.The scores of academic selfefficacy and academic ability self-efficacy of male students are higher than that of female students,but in actual performance,the score of female students is significantly higher than that of male students.(4)There are significant differences in the total score of future orientation,future cognition and future emotion between junior high school students and senior high school students.(5)The total score of future orientation,the dimension of future will and action and the density factor of future cognition of middle school students in villages and towns have significant differences in whether they have ever had the experience of student cadres.The score of former student cadres is lower than that of former student cadres.(6)There was a significant positive correlation between academic achievement and the factors of consideration,and a significant negative correlation between academic achievement and the factors of future orientation,such as density and optimism.The future orientation of thoughtfulness is very significant to predict academic performance,the implementation is more significant to predict academic performance,and the density factor is significantly negative to predict academic performance.There is a significant positive correlation between academic achievement and total score of academic selfefficacy and academic ability self-efficacy,but no significant correlation between academic behavior self-efficacy and academic performance self-efficacy.(7)There is a significant influence on learning achievement by the self-efficacy of the mediating variable,and there is no significant influence on learning achievement by the density,so the self-efficacy of the ability plays a completely mediating role between the density and learning achievement;the thoughtfulness has a significant influence on learning achievement,but the regression coefficient wants to decline for the first step,so the self-efficacy of the ability is thinking Consideration plays a part of intermediary role in learning achievement.
