With the rapid development of the capital market in China,China’s security industry has witnessed large-scale development.Securities business department expands on a large scale,which contributes to the intense competition and—the expansion of the securities business department;intense competition and the war of commission has become white-hot.Traditional brokerage cannot meet the demand of business department,or make profits.The invasion of trust company,banking institutions and even the insurance company and the dramatic income decrease of the securities traders caused by continuous bear market make the reformation take place at a crucial moment.Whether the reformation succeeds or not determines not only the development of the securities market but also the stability of the whole capital market in China.As a renowned state owned Securities Company,its brokerage performance always ranks the forefront and its business departments spread throughout China.In such background,profits made by the brokerage business experience a bottleneck.As the cradle of the brokerage business,lots of problems of business department have surfaced.In 2013,Huatai Securities officially started a business development mode which is called the Whole Business Chain.Facing the business transformation,business department should make some changes.In the past two years,transformation in the business department has begun.But kinds of problems slow its pace.The construction of the team,low productivity and unstable income has troubled the person in charge in the business department.To solve these problems,this article aims to find solutions by using Human Resource Management,Management of Marketing Strategy as well as the Value Chain,Scope Economy Theory and No Boundary Management Theory.To solve the problem,business department must make changes.First,from the perspective of the business culture,an open,tolerant,creative responsible and enterprising atmosphere should be built for all the stuff.Second,great attention should be paid to the talent training for the business department,for a well-qualified team can possibly win under such circumstances.Third,transformation must be made.All the members in the business department should reinforce their learning and try to build the department to be a learning organization to meet the demand of the market.Last,business department should make good use of the platforms and the systems provided by the company to make an overall transformation under the supervision of the Securities Trading Risk Control.
