The Effects Of FTAs On The Export Of Agricultural Products In Shandong Province And The Countermeasure Research

The construction of the Free Trade Area is a hot issue in China.At present,China has pushed the Free Trade Area strategy into a national strategy.China stressed to speed up the implementation of this strategy in the report of the 18 th National Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,and China's Free Trade Area strategy is an objective requirement to adapt to the new trend of economic globalization.So far,China has signed and implemented 14 free trade agreements involving 22 countries and regions.China is negotiating 9 Free Trade Area and has formed a Free Trade Area network.Shandong Province is a big agricultural province in China,which not only produces a huge amount of agricultural products,but also has the largest number of agricultural exports in Shandong for 18 years,and it occupies an important position in China's agricultural market.This paper is starting from the FTA perspective and the export of agricultural products in Shandong Province is the research object of this paper.This paper uses Trade Gravity Model to analyze the impact of China's current Free Trade Area strategy on the export of agricultural products in Shandong Province,and draws conclusions and policy recommendations.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction.The second chapter is related to the theory and literature review,including the theory of regional economic integration,China's regional economic integration practice and literature review.The third chapter is the analysis of the status of agricultural products trade in Shandong Province,and analyzes the total quantity,product structure and country structure in the form of graphs and tables.At the same time,the competitiveness of agricultural products in Shandong Province is judged by calculating the competitiveness index.The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of Trade Gravity Model.Firstly,this paper studies the influence of the establishment of Free Trade Area on the export of agricultural products in Shandong province with 40 partner countries(regions);then the selected countries are divided into developing countries and developed countries respectively to study;finally,the three cases are compared.The fifth chapter is the conclusions and policy recommendations.It mainly uses the conclusion of the fourthchapter empirical analysis,combined with the development of agricultural products in Shandong Province and the existing problems,and finally gives reasonable and feasible policy recommendations.The results of this study show that the explanatory variables in the Gravity Model are in line with expectations,and at present,China's Free Trade Area has a significant effect on the export of agriculture products in Shandong Province.At the same time,to establish a Free Trade Area with the developing countries or developed countries has a promoting effect on the export of agricultural products in Shandong Province,but the degree of influence is different.From the regression coefficient,we can conclude that the SouthSouth Free Trade Area is more favorable to the export of agricultural products in Shandong Province.Based on the analysis of the current situation and the empirical analysis of Shandong Province,the paper puts forward some countermeasures.China should accelerate the implementation of the Free Trade Area strategy,and actively carry out agricultural cooperation with neighboring countries,and effectively promote the further development of agricultural trade in Shandong Province.
