The Research On Relationship Between Producer Service Industry And Manufacturing Industry In China

Producer service is the service industry that is oriented to the producer and provides it with the intermediate input.Throughout the history of the world economic development,no country can jump directly to the service economy without the foundation of the manufacturing industry.The manufacturing industry is the inevitable path of the service industry.China has become the world's first big manufacturing country in 2011,but manufacturing has long followed the extensive mode of development,in the low-end position of the simple processing in the world,with an unbalanced structure and uneven quality.Under the background that global economies continue to seek the "re-industrialization" pattern and to create a new point of economic growth,China's manufacturing industry is facing domestic trouble and foreign invasion.Obviously,the manufacturing service is a breakthrough in the bottleneck.Producer service is born to serve for the manufacturing and supply with high knowledge and technical services.In the past ten years,it has occupied the growth rate of various types of industry and become the core of the service industry.Since 2014,China has promulgated a series of policies to emphasize the necessity and possibility of the productive service industry as a "good medicine" from the national strategic level.Therefore,both the actual experience and policy guidance prove that the producer service is the endogenous path of the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing,and the extension of the industrial and value chain.It is not only the point of the high-end and intelligent manufacturing,but also the "two-way junction" of the secondary and third industry with a natural connection with the service industry.Based on the necessity of above,this paper chooses the eastern,central and western regions of China as the research object,and analyses,fully and deeply,the relationship between the three from three aspects of the total,structure and efficiency.First of all,in the perspective of the total production,this paper calculates the influence,induction and total consumption coefficient of the two industries and regresses the productions through the input-output analysis and panel data.Secondly,in the perspective of the structure,the paper calculates the intermediate investment and demand rate.Finally,in the perspective of the efficiency,the paper focuses on the role of producer services on its efficiency with the manufacturing innovation economic environment into consideration.The results of the study are as follows:first,there is an asymmetry,region-different and industry-different relationship between the two industries.Second,the relationship in three regions is different.There is a high degree of correlation between the producer service industry and the labor-intensive manufacturing industry in the eastern region,while the central and west has a higher correlation with capital and technology intensive.Third,the effect of the efficiency level is not apparent.The relationship is still in the extensive stage of development,has not yet entered the intensive stage.Finally,according to the above conclusions,with the transforming and upgrading of the manufacturing industry as the target,this paper provides the policy and suggestion with the consideration of the regional differences.
