Application Games is a category of digital games,originally called "Serious Game",the early definition is "not for entertainment purposes,use edutainment game form,let the user receive information during the game,and get a new learning experience that is personalized,interactive and entertaining to stimulate the learner's creativity and innovation consciousness." After decades of development,Application Games have been widely "collaborated" with various social circles,current major applications include military training,corporate training,school education,health care,and advertising & marketing.The application game is not very different from the entertainment game on the surface,it has the characteristics of entertainment,interactivity,immersion and digitalization.It also includes four elements: game mechanism,aesthetic performance,implementation technology and event setting.The application games is based on the performance of the game as well as the "meaningful mechanism" in the new audience areas to solve the problem.Application game in the foreign market area is more extensive and dispersed,it is aimed at customers from enterprises,government agencies,distributors,foundations and so on,so its source of funds is also quite extensive,from the small game circle into a larger social circle.Most of these games are customized and a handful of common-use games that are already on the market,mainly in the field of school education.And a customized product maybe not a brand new product,because small studios will use the reuse of resources to re-create some of the products with permission.The use of reusable resources in a product-based model will greatly enhance the marketability of the application game.Application games are indeed of good commercial value,but there are also some problems about themselves.There are mainly two major aspects.One is the management of data protection and the other is the health and social problems indirectly caused by the game.At present,the development of application games in our country is still at an early stage.The most important point is that social awareness is too low.Application Games belong to a new industry in China.Most people who pay attention to application games come from research institutions,academic institutions or a few gamers.Most people do not have a clear understanding of this.In this state,it is not surprising that it is difficult to hatch a better application game product.
