In the current era of knowledge-based economy,enterprises are paying more and more attention to the role of innovation,facing with the ever-changing competitive market.It has gradually become a key factor for enterprises to maintain their competitive advantages,but how to improve innovation performance is still a major problem for all companies.Due to the complexity and uncertainty of innovation,the process requires a lot of resources.Internal social capital serves as a source of important corporate resources.It is the basis for an enterprise to make optimal strategic decisions in a timely manner,it is the important support for enterprises to improve innovation,gain competitive advantages and achieve sustained and steady development.Strategic flexibility,one of the important ways for companies to maintain competitive advantages,can enable companies to constantly adjust their own development strategies to adapt to the ever-changing competitive environment.Studies have shown that it has an important impact on the company's innovation performance.In view of this,the paper will link the three part to conduct study,exploring the impact of internal social capital on innovation performance intermediately with strategic flexibility.This paper adopts Nahapiet and Ghoshal's dimensionality classification of social capital,which is divided into structure,relationship,and cognitive dimensions.It selects the representative characteristics of the three dimensions to illustrate the internal social capital,the connection strength of internal members,the degree of trust and the degree of recognition of the organization's goals.At the same time,based on relevant theoretical literature,strategic flexibility is introduced as a mediator variable to construct a relational model in which explanatory variables are internal social capital and interpreted variables are innovative performances.In this study,the employees of the company were the main survey subjects,data were collected through questionnaires.Hypothesis testing was performed after the sample data were collated,summarized,and descriptive statistics,reliability test,validity test.The results show that:(1)Internal social capital is positively correlated with innovation performance,which has a significant role in enhancing strategic flexibility;(2)Strategic flexibility has a positive impact on innovation performance,and itplays a partial intermediary role in the relationship between internal social capital and innovation performance.Among them,resource flexibility plays a partial intermediary role in the relationship between internal social capital and innovation performance.Capacity flexibility plays a complete mediating role in the relationship between structural dimensions(link strength)and innovation performance,and it plays a partial intermediary role in the relationship between relationship(degree of trust),cognition(degree of recognition of organizational goals)and innovation performance.Based on the above study,the paper gives reference suggestions on how to improve innovation performance of enterprises:(1)Pay attention to the construction of a good network of enterprises.Improve internal management,establish effective communication mechanisms,and further improve the incentive mechanism.Internal members of the company can promote information exchange through frequent contact,close contact,and mutual trust.In addition,the senior management team should communicate more with employees,exert leadership charisma,and enhance the team's target recognition to establish a common vision.(2)Enhance corporate strategy flexibility.Actively explore the external environment,timely understand the market demand,adjust strategic decisions,integrate and optimize the allocation of resources to meet the needs of innovation.In order to improve the company's innovation performance,make the company stand out in the fierce market competition,and lays a solid foundation for the long-term development of the company.
