Research On The Coupling Relationship Between Urbanization And External Service Capabilities Of Urban Agglomeration In The Middle Reaches Of The Yangtze River

In the background of continuous development of urbanization and regional economic integration,China has experienced rapid urbanization and economic growth,increasing economic contacts between cities.And gradually formed urban agglomerations as regional development units.At the same time there has been unbalanced regional development and economic growth estimated is too high and other issues.Urbanization and urban external service capabilities are closely related and its highly coupled coordination plays an important role in promoting urban development.Therefore,the study of the level of urbanization and the capability of the city's external service has great significance to the development of the urban agglomeration.This article takes 28 cities of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River from 2006 to 2016 as the research object.Firstly,build an urbanization development index system based on the entropy method,Study on the Urbanization Development Level of Urban Agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of Yangtze River,Analysis of its overall differences and urban hierarchy and using the results to analyze the evolution of spatiotemporal pattern.Second,based on the urban flow intensity model to study on the urban external service capabilities and characterize the city's economic connections with the urban external service capabilities.Analysis of its overall differences and urban hierarchy and explore its spatial and temporal evolution characteristics and growth pattern.Finally using the coupling model,coupling and coordinated measurement of urbanization development level and city external service capability and analysis of its characteristics of spatiotemporal evolution.In the study,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The urbanization level of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River presents that high-level city less and more low-level cities,the overall difference is large.By clustering the city can be divided into three categories and city hierarchy is about pyramidal.Further analysis of the evolution of spatial-temporal patterns reveals that the analysis of the differences between urbanization areas in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is more significant and spatial structure tends to be stable.(2)Based on the urban flow intensity model,the city's external service capabilities are measured and analyzed.The overall level of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is relatively low,Differences between cities are quite different,The top five cities with the highest urban flow intensity accounted for about half of the total urban flow intensity.Analysis of spatial evolution characteristics found that the overall spatial pattern is relatively stable,huge changes in growth pattern.(3)The overall degree of coupling between the level of urbanization and the external service capacity of cities is small and city trends are more consistent,The classification analysis of the degree of coupling coordination found that only a few cities are in high-level Coordinated development,most cities are uncoordinated types.And only Changsha appears to be the type of urbanization development hysteresis type.
