The trade of China chicken products is not only related to the economic benefits of the country,but also to the employment and survival of tens of millions of people in this industrial chain.As a labor-intensive industry,broiler industry plays an indispensable role in solving the rural and farmers’ economic income.At present,China chicken output ranks third in the world.But compared with its output,China chicken export volume has never been a big breakthrough.In the past decade,it has maintained about 400,000 tons of an annual export volume yearly.Its export market is mainly concentrated in Asia,and the exports account is about 94% of the total export volume.While the Asian market is dominated by the Japanese market,accounting for about 43% of the total volume,followed by Hongkong,accounting for 37% of the total volume.Therefore,it is particularly important to expand new channels and develop new markets for the whole broiler industry.By the analysis of present chicken trade situation,the inherent potential of chicken trade between China and Mongolia is demonstrated.Mongolia market would be the main market for China frozen chicken products.Mongolia is a new chicken export market developed by China in recent years.On the surface,it has a market of more than 3 million people,and its size is small.But given the meat consumption habits of the Mongolian people,the inherent potential of this market is not to be underestimated.In 2017,the export volume of China chicken to Mongolia has reached 9,197 tons.Looking at the current China frozen raw chicken export market,there are very few markets which annual export volume can reach tens of thousands of tons.Through descriptive analysis,statistical analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis,this paper studies the specific factors that influence chicken trade between China and Mongolia.At the same time,the competitive index method is used to analyze the situation of competitive countries.Finally,through gravity model,panel data analysis is used to analyze the factors affecting Chinese chicken export from the macro aspects,and to verify the correctness of the conclusions.And by the research results,the corresponding development suggestions at different levels are put forward.For the trade between China and Mongolia,We only need to empolder the existing market potential and continuously develop new products according to the demand of different market levels and different consumption habits,and its trade volume will certainly be further improved.
