Research On The Sustainable Livelihood Of Immigrants Who Have Been Relocated Of Guizhou Province

The relocation of poverty alleviation is one of the effective ways to help poor families out of poverty,and it is a booster to promote the coordinated development of economy,society and environment.With the move of the relocation project,the scale of the relocation project has expanded.The problems of livelihood of the immigrants need to be focused.The relocation task of Guizhou province is quite heavy.Based on sustainable livelihood theory,this paper focuses on the sustainable livelihood of immigrants.By using the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis and comparative analysis,this paper analyzes the changes of livelihood capital,livelihood strategies and livelihood outcomes of immigrants after relocation.This paper discusses the problems of the livelihood of immigrants and finds out ways and means to achieve sustainable livelihood of immigrants.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)There is a large gap between the actual living capital value of immigrants and the targeted value.The research shows that the livelihood capital value of immigrants of Guizhou province is 1.046 before relocation and is 1.245 after relocation.In terms of numerical value,the living capital value of immigrants has been improved.However,the large gap between the actual living capital value and the targeted value indicates that the livelihood of immigrants is unsustainable.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the capital accumulation and choose a better livelihood strategy.(2)Land plays an important role in the livelihood of immigrants.Obtaining land transfer income is related to the sustainable livelihoods of migrants.Therefore,we need to improve and innovate the land system to find a new way for immigrants to develop.(3)The livelihood strategy of immigrants has changed,mainly reflected that the number of people engaged in agriculture decreased,the number of working people increased and the number of people waiting for work at home increased.After the relocation,immigrants got more job opportunities.However,it is difficult for many immigrants to find suitable jobs for the lack of professional skills.Therefore,the government should provide more practical skills training for immigrants to help them adapt to the skilled jobs.(4)Although the livelihood strategies of immigrants have changed,the livelihood outcomes have not met the goals.Therefore,to realize the sustainable livelihood of immigrants requires the guidance of the government to improve their livelihood.On the one hand,the government should improve the industrial system,formulate policy measures,improve the land system and increase financial support.On the other hand,immigrants should improve their own abilities,adapt to the new living environment,and choose a better livelihood strategy to achieve sustainable development of livelihood.
