Performance management,as a common method of human resource management,gets increasingly important in the operation of commercial bank outlets.In recent years,the key target of the joint-stock system reform in some banks is exactly the transformation from traditional staffing institution to performance management motivation system,aiming to establish the good environment where the salary can perfectly match workers' performance.Based on existing performance management theory and motivation system theory and referring to domestic and foreign academic researches of commercial bank performance management system,this paper studies the characteristics and shortcomings of human resource performance management in China state-owned commercial banks,China urban commercial banks,and China joint-stock banks.Later,taking sub-branch Q of bank Z as an example,this paper studies the advantages and disadvantages of performance management system of China commercial bank outlets.Towards the strengths as well as the shortcomings,the writer gives respective suggestions as following: highlight the key of the performance target,clarify the evaluating rules,make reasonable reward rules,and improve the communication channels between manager and employees.Moreover,sub-branch Q of bank Z has adopted the newly improved performance management mechanism and achieved great triumph.
