Research On The Impact Of Transfer Payment On Industrial Production Efficiency In Western China——

Regional coordinated development has become an important part of promoting the transition of the economy to high-quality development.Among the many factors that promote regional coordinated development,industrial transfer is crucial.Among the many influencing factors that affect industrial transfer and promote regional coordinated development,transfer payment has become one of the hot topics in academic discussion.Research has focused on the impact of transfer payments on regional coordinated development,but I believe that there are still two areas that need improvement.First,there are many literatures on the coordinated development of regional development,but they are mainly based on income and economic aggregates,and there are few literatures on the perspective of production efficiency.Although some literatures pointed out that industrial transfer is conducive to narrowing the economic gap,few literatures use transfer payment as an entry point,and industrial transfer as an intermediate mechanism to study the impact of transfer payments on production efficiency.Second,some literature studies have improved regional production efficiency,but the shortcoming is that there is still a small amount of literature on the integration of corporate heterogeneity into this direction in the academic world.Most of them are based on the assumption of enterprise homogeneity,which leads to some research conclusions.There is a lack of explanatory power for the differences in the production efficiency of enterprises in reality.Since industrial transfer is still the focus of industrial layout adjustment,this paper focuses on the impact of transfer payments on the regional gap of industrial production efficiency in China.In the theoretical model part,this paper takes the FC model of new economic geography as the background,and starts from the difference of production efficiency of enterprises,and adds transfer payment,enterprise heterogeneity and regional migration cost to FC model,and separately from capital allocation effect and local market effect.Compared with the three aspects of income tax effect,the concentration and dispersive power are compared,and the relationship between transfer payment and industrial transfer between regions is studied.In the empirical part,based on the inter-provincial panel data of western China,this paper establishes a mediation effect test model,and empirically tests that industrial transfer can act as an intermediary for the impact of western transfer payments on industrial production efficiency.The research shows that the western transfer payment can not only directly negatively affect the industrial production efficiency of the western region,but also indirectly inhibit the industrial production efficiency of the western region by attracting the industrial industry in the central and eastern regions.
