At present,the level of modern project management in China lags behind that of western developed countries.In IT industry,it is more obvious that the level of project management in IT industry and the development of IT industry are asymmetrical,that is,the technical level of IT industry is developing rapidly,and the application of IT project management theory is lagging behind.A large number of IT enterprises in the industry pay more attention to technology and technology application at the business level.The application of project management theory is relatively inadequate,especially for some sub-industries in the IT industry.Therefore,this paper takes the IT industry as an example to study the scope management in project management.The existing literature research found that the theoretical research results of IT project scope management abroad have been more fruitful,such as the scope management of software development,has formed certain results,and the application of scope management theory has also been more effective.Based on previous studies,this paper first defines the connotation of scope management of IT projects.The content of IT project scope management is elaborated.Based on the content of PMBOK,the scope management of optimized projects in China's telecommunications industry is analyzed in depth.Based on the theory of project scope management,this paper puts forward a set of methods of project scope management suitable for telecommunication industry,and puts forward that the antenna optimization service project of operator A needs to strengthen demand analysis.Based on the background of Antenna Optimized Service Project and the characteristics of communication industry,the common problems in the project scope management of communication industry project are analyzed,and the project scope management process suitable for communication industry project is put forward.At the same time,the project scope planning,demand collection and analysis,project scope definition,project scope verification,project scope change and control of Antenna Optimized Service Project of Operator A are analyzed in depth,so as to further improve the scope management of the project.Based on theoretical analysis and practical cases,this paper systematizes some trivial and fragmentary work and transforms it into the task requirements of IT projects,in order to achieve better management optimization of Antenna Optimized Service Project.The application of project scope management improves the operation quality of the project,makes the whole management have more specific objects,simplifies complex problems,and improves the efficiency of IT project management.
