| Textile and garment industry has always been a traditional pillar industry and an important livelihood industry in China's national economy.It has obvious comparative advantages in China's light industry export industry.The comparative advantages of the industry lie in the lower labor cost,complete manufacturing and processing industry chain and optimized industrial capital structure.China's garment and textile industry has been in a highly mature stage of development,and its main export market has become saturated.In recent years,as the result of various factors at home and abroad,the export trade of China's textile and garment industry is facing more intense market competition.How to upgrade and transform the industry before the recession to achieve sustainable development is an urgent problem to be solved in China's garment industry.Russia is an important trading partner of China.Trade between the two countries has strong complementarity.In recent years,Sino-Russian trade volume has grown steadily and rapidly,and political and cultural exchanges and cooperation have laid the foundation for the sustainable development of trade.With the further development of the strategic cooperation of "the Belt and Road",Russia,as a country along the routes,has strong economic strength and has great potential in deepening cooperation with China in light manufacturing industry.Although Russia is not the main export market of China's textile and garment products,it is still an important market of China.It is important to create its potential for the long-term development of China's textile and garment industry.It can not only provide a theoretical reference for the study of China's export trade,but also help ease the downward trend of China's garment and textile exports in practice.The paper uses data collection methods to study systematically the overall export situation of China's garment and textile industry,and status quo of the industry is analyzed in detail.SWOT analysis is used to explore the internal and external environment of the export trade of China's garment and textiles to Russia.Taking garment export trade as the main object of study,this paper discusses the current situation and characteristics of China's export trade under the background of "the Belt and Road",and hoping to bring some enlightenment to China's trade development through the study and the suggestions of trade in China's garment exports to Russia.This article is mainly divided into six parts.The contents are as follows.The first chapter is introduction,which the research background and significance of this paper are listed,together with the literature review.Russia is an important trading partner of our country because of its large territory and abundant resources.As the five largest export country of traditional garment,another garment export market has great potential in the context of "the Belt and Road" initiative.The second part is the relevant theory review,which mainly includes the theories used in the paper,including absolute advantage and relative advantage theory in classical trade theory,factor endowment theory,life cycle theory and so on.Then,there is a brief introduction to the strategy of "the Belt and Road".Under this background,what policies are closely related to the development of China's international trade.The third chapter is the current situation and characteristics of China's garment export to Russia.China's garment export trade has developed for a long time,and its growth rate is fast.It has a great amount of proportion in the world textile and garment export trade.According to statistics,China's garment export trade has shown a downward trend in the past decade,but with the upgrading and transformation of the industry,the downward trend has eased.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by China's garment export trade with SWOT analysis.Russia's light industry is relatively backward,and its demand for garment and textile products is increasing year by year.Russia also has the geographical advantage of connecting Asia and Europe,which provides opportunities for China to open up its market.However,the European aesthetic characteristics and the requirements for the quality of garment,together with the competition in Europe and Central Asia,have also brought challenges to China's expansion of the Russian market.The fifth chapter,based on the above research,lists some suggestions for garment export to Russia and some enlightenment to China's international trade industry.The main suggestions of this paper are promoting the transformation and upgrading of the entire industry,and transforming labor-intensive industries into technology intensive industries.Making full use of the resources of different countries along "the Belt and Road" to integrate the industrial chain.The influence and competitiveness of Chinese independent garment brands should be expanded,and make full use of information technology for industrial management and marketing.The last chapter is the conclusion of this article and also point out some limitations.The probable innovation point of this thesis is integrating the strategic background of"the Belt and Road" into the research and outlining the influence of the whole Asia and Europe region on China's export trade.As a hot topic in recent years,the concept of "the Belt and Road" has already included every aspect of society.Under such a favorable economic environment,China's garment export also has a conditions to develop smoothly.Russia,as a connecting country of China and Europe,its main population is distributed in Europe.This paper studies its garment demand and sales environment,which can understand the demand of Europe on garment products,and makes Europe become a radiation area for China's export trade. |
