situation,the Chinese government has actively changed its foreign trade strategy and begun to pay more attention to the role of imports,recognizing that actively expanding imports will not only help China learn advanced technologies and methods,but also help resolve international conflicts peacefully.Based on this,China has successively issued a series of trade policies to promote imports,and clearly put forward a trade strategy to optimize the import structure and expand the import scale.Technology-intensive products with high added value and high radioactive features,so such products imported is one of the important strength,improve the structure of China's imports of China can import technology-intensive products,using its technology spillover effect,achieve faster than countries with the import of technology-intensive products,which not only enriches the theory of intellectual property protection,but also provides more targeted Suggestions for promoting the import of technology-intensive products in China.This paper analyzes the impact of intellectual property protection on the import structure of technology-intensive products by combining theory and demonstration.At the beginning of the paper,the research background and significance of this paper are introduced,and the importance of the import of technology-intensive products to China's economic growth and the improvement of industrial structure is emphasized.And marginal from trade and intellectual property protection and the relationship between the two parts of trade combed the literature related to this article,found that scholars of intellectual property rights on the conclusion of the influence of the trade is not unified,in addition,the current literature will be the protection of theoretical basis and action mechanism of the impact of intellectual property protection on trade.Intellectual property protection mainly affects import through market power effect and market expansion effect.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the current situation of the import of technology-intensive products in China,not only analyzing the overall situation of the import of technology-intensive products,but also analyzing the current situation of the import of technology-intensive products from the perspective of the structure distribution of major import regions,the structure distribution of imported products,and the binary margin.Then,this paper analyzes the development status and existing problems of intellectual property protection in China,and measures the actual level of intellectual property protection.Then,to test the market expansion of intellectual property rights(ipr)protection effect or the market power effect on the dominant role in China's technology-intensive products,this article use extended gravity model in the fifth part carries on the empirical analysis,and grouped(national groups and product categories)examined the influence of intellectual property protection for technology-intensive products.The empirical results show that the protection of intellectual property rights has a significant promoting effect on the import of technology-intensive products in China,and it also has a promoting effect on the extension marginal and intensive marginal.Intellectual property protection plays a more important role in promoting China's import of technology-intensive products from developing countries than that of developed countries.Finally,this paper puts forward Suggestions on strengthening intellectual property protection from the national and enterprise level to promote the import of technology-intensive products.The innovation of this paper mainly lies in;first,deepening existing research on intellectual property protection.At present,the discussion on the relationship between intellectual property protection and trade mainly starts from the national and industrial levels.This paper elaborates the technology-intensive products to the product level for analysis,which can well map out the impact of intellectual property protection on specific products,thus providing more practical and specific ipr protection countermeasures for relevant enterprises.In addition,few articles examine the relationship between intellectual property protection and import trade by using the analysis method of binary margin.Secondly,it is the innovation from the research perspective.As an emerging strategic industry,technology-intensive industry is a new research perspective,which combines intellectual property protection with the import of technology-intensive products.
