Entrepreneurial activities are an important source of innovation and economic growth."Mass entrepreneurship and innovation" are important driving forces for sustained economic development. All walks of life have a high enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, especially in the field of tourism, which has attracted a lot of attention. As a starting point for tourism entrepreneurial activities, identifying and discovering potential tourism entrepreneurial opportunities is critical and directly affects the success of tourism entrepreneurial activities.Opportunity recognition is an entrepreneurial activity that runs through the establishment of a company and then to the establishment of a company. It may bring considerable income, growth potential and competitive advantage to the startup. In fact, opportunity identification has always been a core part of entrepreneurial research.Scholars recognize that identifying opportunities is an important step in entrepreneurship because it can trigger processes and ultimately create profits. It is important to study the entrepreneurial process from the cognitive level.Entrepreneur cognition provides a substantial insight into why some entrepreneurs are better at identifying opportunities than other entrepreneurs. However, the existing literature on entrepreneurial opportunities from the perspective of cognitive characteristics pays more attention to how to distinguish entrepreneurs from other individuals, but the specific cognitive process of identifying entrepreneurial opportunities is still insufficiently in-depth.In addition, the research on the relationship between entrepreneurial cognition and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition is still in its infancy, and empirical research is not rich. This research focuses on the situation of tourism entrepreneurship, taking tourism entrepreneurs as the research object, focusing on the mechanism of the important cognitive model of strategic schema on the tourism entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, and trying to explore the important characteristics of entrepreneurial alertness and innovation. In the possible role,a theoretical model is constructed, and the relationship between variables is analyzed by empirical analysis.Using the domestic and international maturity scales,a questionnaire survey method was used to collect the data needed for the research.A total of 130 valid questionnaires were collected by online and offline combination. The SPSS tools were used to descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity test, and the relationship between the variables of the model was tested by regression analysis.Among them,AMOS is used to perform confirmatory factor analysis on the model to test the adaptability of the model. The results show that:(1)Influencing factors of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, strategic schema is significantly positively correlated with tourism entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, and entrepreneurial alertness is significantly positively correlated with tourism entrepreneurial opportunity recognition.(2)Strategic schema is significantly positively correlated with entrepreneurial alertness.(3)Entrepreneurial alertness plays a mediating role in the relationship between strategic schema and tourism entrepreneurial opportunity recognition.(4)Innovativeness negatively adjusts the relationship between strategic schema and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. Finally, this study combines the research conclusions and discusses the practical inspiration for the government and tourism entrepreneurs,as well as the shortcomings and future research directions of this research, which provide valuable references for in-depth study of theentrepreneurial opportunity recognition process.
