| Export trade is one of the main traditional ways to seek economic growth.It has made great contributions to the rapid development of China’s economy.The blooming of"Made in China"is the result of export trade.However,with the gradual maturity of the traditional export trade and the pressure of the ecological environment,the benefits brought by export trade to our country are decreasing day by day.The development of logistics is not only a new breakthrough for economists to seek for economic growth,but also an important focus for China to promote economic growth.The development of export trade drives the development of logistics,and the development of logistics also promotes the development of export trade.They are closely related and inseparable.The study of logistics and trade cost can improve the efficiency of export trade,enhance the competitiveness of export products in the international market,and increase the profit of export trade.The proposal of the Silk Road Economic Belt in 2013 has been highly endorsed by people at home and abroad.It brings new opportunities and challenges to export trade.The western region is along the Silk Road Economic Belt in China.Local governments along the route have responded by increasing efforts to promote the development of international trade and encouraging local enterprises to actively participate in export trade.Because its natural and geographical environment is extremely unfavorable to the circulation of goods,the logistics development in the western region is slow,which restricts and hinders the local economic growth and the development of export trade.The development of logistics is an important prerequisite for the region along the Silk Road to participate in the initiative of the Silk Road Economic Belt,and it is also the key support object of the government along the Silk Road.Therefore,taking the regions along the Silk Road Economic Belt as the research object is of great significance not only to the study of the impact of logistics on export trade,but also to the estimation of government support performance of regional logistics along the Silk Road Economic Belt.Firstly,this paper combs the relevant literature at home and abroad about the impact of regional logistics and logistics on international trade along the Silk Road Economic Belt.Secondly,the current situation of regional export trade and logistics along the route is analyzed separately:the current situation of regional export trade along the route is analyzed from the aspects of trade scale,commodity structure and export market distribution;and the current situation of regional logistics along the route is analyzed from the aspects of infrastructure construction,logistics scale,regional and intraregional disparities.Thirdly,the paper elaborates the impact mechanism of logistics on export trade from three perspectives:logistics cost,trade profit,and the combination of trade and logistics services.After that,the empirical analysis of the regional data along the line is carried out.The export trade volume of the provinces along the line is selected as the dependent variable,and the turnover of goods,the number of logistics practitioners and the investment amount of fixed assets are selected as the independent variables.Using EVIEWS software,LLC test was used to carry out unit root,HUASMAN test was used to determine panel model regression,and then regression analysis was carried out from the whole,southwest and northwest regions respectively.Finally,combined with the development status of the Silk Road Economic Belt in China,the paper summarizes and puts forward policy recommendations to promote the development of regional logistics along the Silk Road Economic Belt.Through the study,the conclusions are as follows:the development of regional logistics industry along the Silk Road Economic Belt is unbalanced;logistics has a positive role in promoting export trade;turnover and employees have a greater role in promoting export trade in the southwest region;fixed assets investment has a greater role in promoting export trade in the Northwest region.The government should establish the overall development goal of logistics along the Silk Road Economic Belt in China,promote the development of green logistics and third party logistics along the Silk Road Economic Belt,establish the logistics information platform of the Silk Road Economic Belt,promote the construction of logistics infrastructure in Northwest China,and promote the implementation of logistics talents development strategy in Southwest China. |
