China's insurance brokerage industry has experienced rapid development in the past two decades,and has grown from three insurance brokerage companies in 2000 to more than 400 now.The rapid development of China's insurance brokerage market is not only reflected in the number of institutions,but also in some facial data such as operating income,insurance brokerage channel premium income,and business structure.Due to the imperfect insurance market in China,the weak foundation of insurance brokerage industry and the imperfect supervision system,while the rapid development,China's insurance brokerage industry has many problems in practice.Coupled with the ultra-high requirements of insurance brokers themselves,in terms of capital,technology and talents,China's insurance brokerage market has experienced the problem of inefficient market allocation resources and unbalanced industry development.At present,China's insurance brokerage market mainly has three types of insurance brokerage companies,one is a shareholder business-based,industry-based insurance brokerage companies that rely on strong shareholder resources to conduct business,such as Yingda Changan Insurance Brokerage Company and Beijing United Insurance Brokerage Company;The other category is non-industry insurance brokerage companies that have no shareholder advantage and participate in market competition by virtue of their own strength,such as Mingya Insurance Brokerage Company and Great Wall Insurance Brokerage Company;the third category is a wholly foreign-owned and Sino-foreign joint venture insurance brokerage company.Such as Zhongyi Insurance Brokerage Company,Daxin Insurance Brokerage Company.Non-industry insurance brokerage companies are under the double attack of industry-based insurance brokerage companies with shareholder resources and well-funded foreign insurance brokerage companies.How to find a development path suitable for their own situation and formulate a scientific and effective development strategy is a worth pondering question.This paper analyzes the development status of China's insurance brokerage industry from the factors of premium scale,business structure proportion,operating income and market structure in China's insurance brokerage market,and finds out the key factors affecting thedevelopment of China's non-industry insurance brokerage companies.On the basis of the possibility of the development and expansion of sex insurance brokerage companies,the paper analyzes the problems existing in China's non-industry insurance brokerage companies,and takes the representative non-industry insurance brokerage company Mingya Insurance Brokerage Company as an example.Through the analysis of its development path and development strategy,providing successful experience for other non-industry insurance brokerage companies,it has always helped to find a development path that is suitable for its own development and conforms to the characteristics of the industry.After combing and summarizing the relevant literatures,firstly,it briefly expounds the development status of China's insurance brokerage market,analyzes the indicators of premiums,business structure,operating income and other indicators from specific data,then draws the insurance brokerage market in China through horizontal comparison shows that China's insurance brokerage market is at Monopolistic competition market stage;Secondly,through the analysis of the first part,it concludes that China's non-industry insurance companies still have the potential to grow and develop;then select typical non-industry insurance brokerage companies,from market positioning,advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges,and The development path is analyzed in terms of development direction.Finally,the development strategy of non-industry insurance brokerage companies in China is summarized and given.The research in this paper points out that if China's non-industry insurance brokerage companies want to become bigger and stronger,they should focus on the industries they serve,take the road of professional development,and form an accurate market positioning to foster strengths and avoid weaknesses.For non-industry insurance brokerage companies to establish brand awareness,focus on long-term interests,long-term management,and more importantly,in the Internet era,the Internet can be used to increase the diversity and timeliness of its business.Only in this way can non-industry insurance brokerage companies develop in a healthy,orderly and rational manner,and China's insurance brokerage market will tend to improve.
