Research On Performance And Influencing Factors Of "Maize + Winter Wheat" Family Farm In Hebei Province

The household contract responsibility system mobilizes the enthusiasm of farmers and promotes the development of agricultural productivity.However,with the development of urbanization and the progress of agricultural technology,small-scale decentralized management with family as a unit has made the adoption of new agricultural technologies costly and difficult to achieve economies of scale,which has hindered the pace of agricultural modernization to a certain extent.Family farm has the characteristics of scale,specialization,intensiveness and commercialization.It is one of the important carriers to realize agricultural modernization.Family farms in Hebei Province have developed rapidly since the first document of the Central Committee in 2013 identified family farms as the main body of new agricultural management,and most of them are family farms planting maize and winter wheat.Based on the important position of "maize + winter wheat" planting mode in agriculture of Hebei Province,aiming at the development status of "maize + winter wheat" family farms in Hebei Province,it is of great significance to study the performance and its influencing factors of "corn + winter wheat" family farms in Hebei Province,so as to improve the performance level of such family farms and promote the agricultural development of Hebei Province.On the basis of combing the related theories of family farm development and combining with empirical research,this paper constructs the performance evaluation system of "corn + winter wheat" family farm in Hebei Province,makes a comprehensive evaluation of its development status,and finds out the key factors affecting its performance,then provides some decision-making reference for promoting the construction of family farm.This paper mainly studies from the following aspects: The first part introduces the background of family farms and combs the research status of family farm.The related concepts are defined,the theoretical basis of this study is given,and the purpose and significance of studying the performance of “corn + winter wheat” family farms in Hebei Province are proposed.In the second part,154 "corn + winter wheat" family farms in Hebei Province were investigated by questionnaire and interview.This part introduces the development status of family farms in the research area,and makes a statistical analysis of the research results.In the third part,based on the existing research and field research data,this part constructs a family farm performance evaluation system including economic performance,social performance,ecological performance,operational performance,learning and innovation performance.Then,factor analysis method is used to determine the weight of each part and calculate the performance value of family farm.On this basis,the stepwise regression analysis method was used to find out the key factors affecting the performance of the "corn + winter wheat" family farm in Hebei Province,and explain its impact mechanism.In the fourth part,according to the empirical research results of the previous part,this part summarizes the research conclusions,and puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.The innovations of this paper are as follows: First,more detailed research object makes the countermeasures and suggestions more pertinence and operable.In this paper,the object of study is refined,and the research on "corn + winter wheat" family farm in Hebei Province is helpful to improve the accuracy and practicability of the research results.Second,in terms of research content,a performance evaluation system for "corn + winter wheat" family farm in Hebei Province was designed.The system includes five kinds of performance: learning and innovation performance,economic performance,social performance,ecological performance and management performance.After that,the five kinds of performance were taken as dependent variables to identify the key factors affecting the performance and reveal the impact mechanism of each factor on the performance.This system will have important practical significance in regulating the development of family farms.
