With the development of economy,the awareness of national insurance is gradually strengthened,and the insurance industry is facing a huge space for development.If insurance companies want to remain invincible in the competition,human resources are the key factor of development and the core weapon in the market competition.Performance appraisal is a key link in human resources management.As an important tool to improve the performance of enterprises and employees,it plays an increasingly important role in the development of enterprises.This paper combines the current situation and future development direction of M life insurance company,through consulting a large number of relevant literature and case materials,and conducting field interviews with M life insurance company,applying the relevant knowledge of performance management and performance appraisal,to study the performance appraisal system of M life insurance company.Firstly,the problems of performance appraisal system of internal staff in M life insurance company are analyzed comprehensively;secondly,on the basis of in-depth analysis of the problems,an optimization scheme of performance appraisal system is formulated.The optimization scheme focuses on classifying internal staff according to business lines,and formulating a unified appraisal index system for each line staff.At the same time,the relevant regulations for the application of assessment results have been formulated to make the assessment more clear and fair,and to make the application of assessment results more practical.Thirdly,the guarantee system for the implementation of the optimized scheme is established.The improved performance appraisal system will be more suitable for the development needs of M life insurance company.By using the new performance appraisal system,the performance of employees,departments and companies will be effectively improved,and the staff in the field are more willing to participate in the appraisal.The optimized performance appraisal system can build a competency model for employees,which makes it easier and fairer for companies to select and train talents.The professionalism of the staff in M life insurance company will also be effectively improved.By creating innovative,dare to be the first professional team,enhance the company's soft power.The conclusion of the study will be of great guiding significance for M life insurance company and its insurance branches at the same level to establish a performance appraisal system that is in line with their own development and complementary to their superior companies.
