Middle managers are the backbone of the company,and all their work in the company plays an essential role.Amiddle manager collectivity with excellent performance is powerful and necessary guarantee for company operation and development.Therefore,the purpose of the LM company to implement performance appraisal for middle managers is to hope to improve middle managers work performance,establish a benign competition environment within the enterprise,and then improve enterprise competitiveness and promote the steady development of the enterprise.LM company's existing performance appraisal of middle managers should be improved since it cannot really reflect the job performance and cannot meet the requirements of the company.After investigation and analyzing,the root cause of the problem is the performance appraisal lacks theoretical support,appraisal indexs are optional,and continuous improvement is not established.The author set up the basic principle of performance appraisal,,formulatethestrategic oriented KPI performance appraisal system based on the balanced scorecard.By building the strategic map,factorsdecomposition,the middle management of KPIs were confirmed.Establishing a performance appraisal implementation processwhich emphasizes the requirements of performance coaching and performance feedback,therewards and punishment of the performance appraisal are identified,and establishing the way of continuous improvement for performance appraisalsystem.At the same time,by setting up a variety of support measures in thecompany to ensure the new performance appraisal system can be carried out smoothly.After analysis and test,This study is based on the balanced scorecard strategic oriented KPI for LM company middle managers performance evaluation,can be targeted to solve the problems of performance appraisal,and ensure the performance appraisal carried out according to the requirement and continuous improvement.
