Since the beginning of the new century,China's urbanization has rapidly entered a stage of rapid development.Urban construction on this basis often pay special attention to the expansion of urban scale and economic agglomeration,so as to ignore the needs of individual residents in urban construction. With the continuous expansion of urbanization areas, the disadvantages of unbalanced internal space and unsustainable development in big cities are gradually highlighted. The transformation of market economy and the differentiation of social structure have created a number of "urban poverty zones" in big cities that cannot be ignored. These low-income areas have gradually attracted extensive attention from geographers. With the aggravation of urban social spatial differentiation, there has been paid more and more attention about the quality of life of residents in urban low-income communities. The advocacy of “Inclusive Cities” provides a new perspective on the study of the life quality of residents in low-income communities.Based on the theories of geography, sociology and urban planology on low-income communities and residential satisfaction, this study takes typical low-income communities in Beijing as the object and studies the residential satisfaction of residents in low-income communities in Beijing from the perspective of urban micro-behavior subjects. On this basis, this study analyzes the influence factor of neighborhood environment, built environment and facility environment on residents' residential satisfaction. The data are mainly based on comprehensive urban geographic information data and typical questionnaire data of low-income communities. The conclusions of this dissertation can be summarized as following:(1)The residents of typical low-income communities in Beijing have a low evaluation on residential satisfaction.Residents rated commuting and living trip the highest, but housing conditions were the main factor that plagued the improvement of living conditions in low-income communities. On the other hand, the natural environment can be said to be the most important factor affecting the health of Beijing residents. From the perspective of the spatial characteristics of residential satisfaction in typical low-income communities, the satisfaction of living conditions in the communities located in the old city(within the fifth ring road)is higher than that in the communities located on the edge of the city(outside the fifth ring road),and the residential satisfaction of residents in economically affordable housing communities is significantly higher than that in the communities of old units and affordable housing(public rental housing).(2)The analysis of residential satisfaction of vulnerable groups in low-income communities shows that the elderly have a general evaluation of residential satisfaction. The older the residents are,the higher their evaluation of residential satisfaction will be.The proportion of low-income people renting houses is significantly higher than that of other groups, and their living conditions are relatively poor. They are less satisfied with their living conditions, and the lower their income is,the lower their satisfaction will be.Migrants mainly rent houses, although living conditions are relatively poor, the evaluation of living conditions is high.(3)Residents from different types of communities have significant differences in their evaluation of housing satisfaction.Mature affordable housing communities have relative disadvantages of commuting and living.Residents in “Local community” have relatively high satisfaction with living conditions and service facilities.Suburban mixed community has a variety of residential problems.Different types of people also have different degrees of satisfaction with living: Service facilities satisfaction, natural environment comfort, commuting satisfaction, life travel satisfaction, and living conditions satisfaction is relatively high among high potential population. The evaluation of social fairness and inclusion of the middle-potential population is relatively high. However, the housing problem of low potential population is more prominent.(4)The urban living environment plays an important role in the residential satisfaction of residents in low-income communities.Neighborhood environments have an important influence on the residential satisfaction of residents in low-income communities.Neighborhood support, social participation and neighborhood identity have positive effects on residents' residential satisfaction, while neighborhood communication has little effect on residents' residential satisfaction.Neighborhood environment has more obvious effects on residents with migrants. Both the built environment and the facility environment have different effects on the individual's satisfaction. Both the built environment and the facility environment have different effects on the individual's satisfaction.Convenient public transport facilities and favorable built environment are conducive to improving residents' satisfaction with living, while long commuting time will reduce residents' satisfaction with living.Meanwhile, subjective evaluation of living environment has an intermediary effect in this process.Eventually, social and economic factors including gender, age, education background and income level have different degrees of influence on residents' satisfaction with living.(5)To promote the inclusive construction of low-income communities, not only we should pay attention to the improvement of physical living environment, but also to concern the construction of harmonious neighborhood environment and the living needs of different groups. We need to understand the differences between different residential areas, determine the direction of targeted residential environment regulation and build a harmonious and livable community living environment.
