Research On Rural Mutual Assistance For The Aged From The Perspective Of Active Aging

China has entered an aging society.The continuous growth of the aging population has increased the burden of old-age care in China,and the problem of old-age care in rural areas is even more severe.At the same time,with the continuous development of urbanization,more and more young people in the rural areas choose to work in the process.The number of elderly people living in rural areas and the number of elderly people living alone has surged,which has caused a huge impact on the traditional family pension system.In this context,it came into being.As a way of social pension,it helps the elderly to improve the quality of life in their later years and enhance their sense of well-being through mutual help and companionship among the elderly.This paper uses the theory of active aging to explore the status quo of the mutual support and pension system and the countermeasures and suggestions through the field research of J town in Henan Province.The study found that in the context of the limited number of family pensions and the limited number of traditional old-age care institutions,the mutual-supporting pension model has important practical significance in solving the current rural pension problems.However,from the perspective of active aging,there are some shortcomings in the practice of mutual-supporting pension model,which are mainly divided into three aspects: there are insufficient supply of medical services and easy to ignore the elderly in the physical and mental health care of the elderly.Spiritual needs;in the promotion of the enthusiasm and participation level of the elderly,the government and the happy home lack guidance on the concept of mutual support for the elderly,and the social participation type of the elderly in the happy home;in the aspect of material security,lack of government policy support and Capital investment and infrastructure construction is very weak.To develop the model of rural mutual welfare and old-age care,it is necessary to improve the level of rural medical services,build a medical care and old-age care service system,reasonably guide and publicize the concept of mutual support and pension,and raise the concernfor the spiritual needs of the elderly.At the same time,the government should play a leading role and increase Capital investment,establish and improve the channels for capital inflows,and promote the benign operation and sustainable development of the rural mutual support model.
