With much higher iteration speed of technological renewal, the old low-cost competition strategy is no longer suitable for current market situation, and single-product competition also cannot help enterprises gain long-term competitive advantage.Enterprises must seek new competitive means. At present, with the continuous strengthening of inter-firm linkages, the increasingly prominent characteristics of user market integration, the requirement for technological compatibility is rapidly rising, and technological competition is also difficult to ensure the sustainability of leading enterprises. Therefore, technology standards have increasingly become an important strategic tool for enterprises to win market competition. At the same time, due to the increasing scale and diversification of funds, talents and other resources needed for the development of enterprises, especially information and knowledge, have broken through the boundaries of enterprises and flowed in a broader enterprise network, one single enterprise has been unable to obtain all the resources needed for their development. Therefore, enterprises must break through their own boundaries, make use of enterprise networks to identify opportunities, match partners, and enhance their innovation strength. As the leading regulation of industrial development,as well as the strategic means of enterprise development, technology standards are of great significance to the construction of innovative enterprises and the realization of industrial upgrading and transformation. The high-speed iteration of technology leads to the increase of R&D cost and R&D difficulty index, which are already so high. The development of technology integration makes the lock-in effect of technology standards expand massively. Therefore,a single enterprise must make full use of its network structure, maximize access to embedded capital in the enterprise network, internalize advanced knowledge and technology, then transform it into its own competitive advantage, and constantly enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise's technical standards,so as to occupy a sustainable dominant position in the competition of technical standards. Therefore,it is very important to study the influence of network structure on enterprise technology standardization ability from the perspective of enterprise network.Enterprise network structure has a profound impact on the ability of knowledge acquisition and technology standardization.Enterprise network can help enterprises break through their own resource and capability boundaries, broaden the absorbing access channels of enterprise information and technology, enable them to effectively integrate internal and external resources, and facilitate the formulation, implementation and diffusion of more advanced technical standards. In addition, the continuous strengthening of enterprise linkages also enables all actors to effectively reach consensus, promote the implementation and promotion of industry standards, and contribute to the innovation and development of enterprises and industries. At present, scholars at home and abroad have not yet perfected the relationship between enterprise network structure and technological standardization capability of technological enterprises.Meanwhile, few of them have acknowledged knowledge acquisition capability as an intermediary variable and put such three factor together into a unified theoretical model to explore the relevant mechanisms.Based on empirical research, this paper takes manufacturing industry as the research object, and explores the mechanism of network structure on enterprise technology standardization capability through knowledge acquisition capability.Based on the social network theory, knowledge management theory and enterprise capability theory, this paper combs the relevant literature both in domestic and abroad, elaborates the theory of network structure, knowledge acquisition ability and enterprise technology standardization ability, and clarifies the relationship among the three variables. Then, theoretical models and hypotheses are constructed, tested by empirical analysis through formal investigation after pre-investigation.This paper has collected 184 valid questionnaires for managers of technology standardization activity in manufacturing enterprises. After the questionnaire was collected, based on confirmatory factor analysis, the reliability and validity of the sample data were tested by SPSS and AMOS software.Since tests above are passed, structural equation model was established to test the hypothesis. As for mediation effect,it is Bootstrap method was used to verify it.Finally, this paper puts forward the research enlightenment, summarizes the shortcomings of the study, and forecasts future prospects. This paper draws the following conclusions: three dimensions of enterprise network structure, which includes network density, network centrality and structure hole, have a significant positive impact on knowledge acquisition ability;Network centrality and structure hole also have a significant positive impact on enterprise technology standardization ability, while the influence of network density on technology standardization ability is not clear;Knowledge acquisition ability has a significant positive impact on technology standardization ability.Meanwhile, knowledge acquisition ability plays a mediating role in the relationship between network structure and technology standardization ability. Moreover, knowledge acquisition capability plays a partial mediating role in 6 working path, while a complete mediating role exists in the relation between network density and technology standardization capability. These conclusions can provide significant guidance in improving technology standardization ability of enterprises and establishing long-term competitive advantage.
