Research On The Effect Of Entrepreneurial Self-efficacy On Young Farmers' Entrepreneurial Behavior In Suburban Beijing-The Moderated Mediating Effect Of The Entrepreneurial Climate

In the context of urbanization trend and climate change,the debate on how to balance agricultural production and rural quality of life is becoming more and more important,and farmers' entrepreneurship has become one important issue.As an important variable that can effectively predict the probability of entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial behavior,entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays an important role in entrepreneurship research.For this purpose,this study aims to explore the influence mechanism of entrepreneurship self-efficacy on entrepreneurial behavior of young farmers in suburban Beijing.The study firstly makes a theoretical analysis on young farmers' entrepreneurial behavior using the expected utility theory in economics.And then we study how entrepreneurship self-efficacy influences young farmers' entrepreneurial behavior using the survey data of the suburbs of Beijing and the method of structural equation model.The two intermediary variables such as entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial feedback are brought into the empirical model to be discussed.On this basis,we also discuss the moderated mediating effect of regional entrepreneurial climate.The main work and conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows:1?The mechanism of young farmers' entrepreneurial behavior and their decision-making is clarified.The expected utility theory analysis shows that the young farmers entrepreneurship choices may be influenced by factors such as their attitude preference,earnings expectation,external information feedback and comprehensive evaluation.2?The entrepreneurial self-efficiency can significantly influence the entrepreneurial behavior of young farmers in suburban Beijing.Based on the empirical analysis,almost all the entrepreneurship self-efficacy have direct impact on entrepreneurial behavior(including their Opportunity identification behavior,entrepreneurial network-building behavior,entrepreneurial imitation behavior and their resource integration behavior.3?Entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial feedback have mediating effect between the entrepreneurial self-efficiency and the entrepreneurial behavior of young farmers.In general,the entrepreneurial self-efficiency indirectly effect the entrepreneurial behaviors of different content dimensions through the two intermediary variables:entrepreneurial feedback and entrepreneurial intention.4?The regional entrepreneurship atmosphere plays a moderating role in the mediating process of entrepreneurial intention.The improvement of the entrepreneurial intention of young farmers can best benefit the young farmers in areas with poor entrepreneurial climate.However,it is more beneficial for young farmers' entrepreneurial behaviors to enhance the sense of entrepreneurial self-efficiency while the entrepreneurial climate is good enough.
