Study On Factors Affecting Tourism Service Trade Competitiveness Of Hainan

As China's international tourism island,Hainan has accumulated rich experience in developing tourism service trade and made remarkable progress,which has become the main driving force for Hainan's economic growth.However,over the years,Hainan's tourism service trade still has problems,such as poor internal structure etc.In April 2018,Hainan was approved to set up a Pilot Free Trade Zone,and since then tourism services trade has taken on a higher strategic status.However,the competitiveness of Hainan's tourism service trade is still unclear.Therefore,this study aims to evaluate the competitiveness of Hainan's tourism service trade and analyze its influencing factors,which will be of great significance for improving the competitiveness of Hainan's tourism service trade.This paper firstly reviews the related literature of tourism service trade and tourism service trade competitiveness evaluation,and concludes that the traditional method of industry competitiveness evaluation is not suitable for the study of tourism service trade competitiveness evaluation.Then,combined a classic national competitiveness evaluation model “diamond model” and tourism competitiveness evaluation index “tourism and tourism competitiveness index” to construct the evaluation framework.In addition,under the guidance of this evaluation framework,indicators related to Hainan's tourism service were selected and a multiple linear regression model is constructed.This paper has proved that insufficient development of tourism resources,low quality of tourism services,small scale of tourism supply and insufficient policy environment support are the main factors affecting the competitiveness of Hainan's tourism service trade.Therefore,in the future,Hainan should take advantage of the opportunity of the Pilot Free Trade Zone to give full play to its regional advantages in the pearl river delta and the Asia-Pacific economic circle,actively establish communication and cooperation with Asian countries,and sign the strategic cooperation framework agreement on tourism service trade with countries along the One Belt And One Road as soon as possible.
