From Spatial Agglomeration To Industrial Cluster

Homesaty inn is a new and important operation under the background of post-modern leisure tourism in China and homestay inn tourism cluster has become a new element and new driving force to promote the transformation and upgrading of tourism destinations and rural revitalization.However,the academic research is lagging behind.This paper firstly analyzed the development history and regional differences of Chinese homestay inns,systematically sorted out domestic and foreign literature of the homestay inn research,established the framework of homestay inn research knowledge in Taiwan,China,then compared and analyzed the homestay inn research problems in mainland China,and put forward the homestay inn research framework in mainland China.Further,this paper took Moganshan region(MR),one of the most typical and famous homestay inn tourism destinations,as the case,used the theory of hospitality location,industrial chain,tourism cluster and evolutionary economic geography,in different scales of the Moganshan Mountain/ Moganshan Scenic Spots,the Moganshan Town/ the area around Moganshan Montain(AAMM)and MR,comprehensively explored the dynamic process,connotation characteristics and mechanism of the development homestay Inns in Moganshan region(HIMR)which was from spatial agglomeration to industrial cluster.Firstly,we obtained the spatial data of HIMR through the local government official statistics and field research,and constructed the spatial process analysis method with the combination of Arc GIS and Geo-detector to systematically explore the feature and cause of the HIMR spatial and temporal distribution based on the micro-scale of AAMM.The results showed that from 2011 to 2017,the amount of HIMR was increasing year by year,the spatial distribution was expanding,and the degree of agglomeration was increasing.At present,HIMR has formed the spacial structure with a bed-top core agglomeration areas in the villages around Moganshan Mountain and multiple agglomeration point in the edge villages of Moganshan Town.The spatial agglomeration process is closely related to the terrain topography,corescenic spot,traffic trunks and residential areas.Scenery,development foundations,social factors and location are all contributing factors of the spatial heterogeneity of HIMR.Significant differences exist in spatial determinants of dimensions and indicators for different grades with the rule that the high-grade's spatial location selection is physical geographical landscape oriented,the mid-grade's is industrial landscape oriented,and the low-grade's is social landscape oriented.Secondly,the formation and evolution of the homestay inn tourism industry cluster in MR was analyzed based on evolutionary economic geography.It is found that since 2010,the spatial agglomeration characteristics of the homstay inns and tourism enterprises in MR have been significant,and the scale effect has appeared.The homestay inn tourism cluster is formed under the network organization of the homestay inn industry chain and the homestay inn tourism industry chain.The the homestay inn industry chain is the homestay inn nuclear-based upstream and downstream industrial relationship in which local planning,construction,engineering,labor,management,marketing and other related departments divide and cooperate in the procedure of homestay inns' production,operation and distribution.The homestay inn tourism industry chain is the value-added function strategic relationship among different tourist departments,in which homestay inn is cored,products and market are the foundation and relevant tourism enterprises,agencies,institutions are linked by capital,technology,knowledge and institution.Thirdly,the evolution mechanism of the homestay inn tourism industry cluster in MR is that the factors,namely initiative and accidental factors,routine institution and path dependence,path creation and regional branch,entrepreneurs,government and innovation networks,acted different functions and effects for the evolution of industrial elements and networks respectively,with their unique mechanism mechanism at different stages.But,at the same time,the factors are intertwined,interconnected,and synergistically contributing to the birth,growth,reflection,and self-adaption process of the homestay inn tourism population.The research not only enriches the case type research of the spatial selection of the hospitality industry,industrial clusters and the evolution of tourism destinations,but also provides important geographical and spatial development and industrial economic evolution rules for the development of the homestay inn tourism development model of Moganshan region.From the perspective of destinationmanagement,it has certain practical significance to the location selection,the planning practice and the choice of the property industry path of homestay inn industry.At the same time,it provides a new regional and new type of case attempt and evidence of the new era China for tourism research based on evolutionary economic geography and provides a new theoretical method for domestic tourism industry cluster research and tourism evolution research.
