Shanxi Province is a typical resource-based region and bears the heavy responsibility of energy supply in the process of industrialization in China.While the resource sector is developing at a high level,on the one hand,it has squeezed out the production factors of other sectors in the region,resulting in a simplification of the industrial structure.On the other hand,it has also caused problems such as the deterioration of the ecological environment and the widening gap between the rich and the poor.Only by carrying out economic transformation and taking the road of sustainable development can Shanxi Province get out of the woods.Scientific and technological innovation is the inherent requirement and driving force of economic development.It helps to promote the rationalization and highlevel development of industrial structure,and is the strategic support for building a modern economic system.It can be seen that technological innovation plays an important role in driving the transformation of resourcebased economy.In view of the urgency of economic transformation in Shanxi Province and the impact of technological innovation on the economic transformation of resource-based regions,this paper studies the driving effects of technological innovation in the economic transformation of Shanxi Province,which is of great significance for the development of economic transformation in Shanxi Province.This paper firstly combs the research results of innovation field,resource-based economic transformation,scientific and technological innovation and economic transformation.On this basis,it puts forward the mechanism of technological innovation to drive economic transformation.Secondly,it analyzes the economic transformation situation of Shanxi Province in recent years from four aspects of economic growth,industrial structure,social development and ecological protection,and analyzes the development of science and technology innovation in Shanxi Province vertically and horizontally.Thirdly,the Shanxi Province Science and Technology Innovation Capability Index System and the Shanxi Province Economic Transformation Level Index System were constructed.Using the relevant data of Shanxi Province from 1997 to 2016,the entropy method was used to calculate the comprehensive index of scientific and technological innovation capability and the comprehensive index of economic transformation level.The comprehensive index is a variable,and the VAR model is used to analyze the dynamic equilibrium relationship between science and technology innovation capability and economic transformation level in Shanxi Province,and empirically study the technological innovation ability to economic growth,industrial structure,social development and ecological protection.The specific impact of each aspect.Finally,aiming at the current situation of insufficient scientific and technological innovation ability and economic transformation in Shanxi Province,the countermeasures and suggestions for the transformation of science and technology innovation in Shanxi Province are proposed.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Shanxi Province has achieved certain results in four aspects of economic growth,industrial structure,social development and ecological protection,but compared with the national average,there is still a certain gap;Shanxi Province Science and Technology Innovation The capacity has also been greatly improved,but it is still at a disadvantage compared with other provinces in the central region;(2)The technological innovation capability and economic transformation level of Shanxi Province have been continuously rising in the past 20 years,and technological innovation in 1997-2007 The growth rate of the comprehensive index of capacity is slow.After 2007,the growth rate of the comprehensive index of technological innovation capability has accelerated significantly.Shanxi has begun to attach importance to the development of technological innovation capabilities.(3)The improvement of technological innovation capability will promote economic transformation,and in turn,the level of economic transformation The impact of innovation capability is relatively small.In the long run,the role of scientific and technological innovation in promoting the secondary indicators in the economic transformation level is industrial structure(1.1912),economic growth(0.8985),and social development(0.7457).Ecological protection(0.5389);(4)Technological innovation has a significant driving effect clearly define its own position and create a good atmosphere for innovation activities;Build a reasonable innovation investment system to provide financial support for innovation activities;Bring into play the potential of the company and promote the development of innovation capability;Establish and improve the system of talent training and introduction,and provide intellectual security;Improve the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements and promote economic growth;Optimize industrial structure and promote economic transformation.
