Research On Industrial Spatial Agglomeration In Guizhou Province

Industrial Agglomeration plays an important role in social and economic development.The essence of Industrial Agglomeration is a phenomenon that a certain industry is highly concentrated in a specific spatial area,and absorbing the relevant factors of production,to promote the overall industrial efficiency.In recent years,Guizhou's industry has developed rapidly.In 2017,the added value of industries above the scale of the whole province increased by 9.6%year on year,exceeding the national average by 3 percentage points.In the same year,Guizhou's total manufacturing output value accounted for more than 70%of the total industrial output value,which is sufficiently illustrating the importance of manufacturing industry in Guizhou's industrial structure.Benefiting from the Strategy of Industrial Power,Guizhou vigorously develops and upgrades the traditional manufacturing industry,and builds an intelligent manufacturing system based on big data to promote the economic development of Guizhou Province.Based on the positive significance of industrial agglomeration and the importance of manufacturing industry to Guizhou,this paper studies the industrial agglomeration of Guizhou manufacturing.First,this paper deeply analyses the development trend of Industrial Agglomeration in Guizhou from multiple perspectives and charts,by calculating the spatial Ginny-coefficient of two-digit manufacturing industry in Guizhou from 2013 to 2017 and the Location-entropy value of nine administrative districts and sub-industries in Guizhou Province.The results show that the distribution of manufacturing industry in the whole province is relatively decentralized,which exactly shows the advanced stage of balanced regional industrial structure;from the perspective of specific industries,labor-intensive and resource-intensive industries have greater advantages,and technology-intensive industries need to be promoted urgently.Second,by using Statal1.0 software,this paper constructs a multiple regression model to analyze the five impact factors,including government policy,labor cost,energy resources,openness and transportation conditions,on the Industrial Agglomeration of Guizhou manufacturing industry.The results show that Guizhou's Industrial Spatial Agglomeration is mainly affected by four factors:transportation conditions,energy resources,labor cost and openness to the outside world,while the government's policy factors are not significant.Specifically,building a more developed transportation network,paying full attention to labor costs and improving the degree of opening-up have an important impact on the development of Industrial Agglomeration in Guizhou Province.In addition,the Industrial Agglomeration shows a more decentralized trend in the regions that have abundant energy resources and more government policy-oriented factors.Third,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the development of Guizhou's Industrial Agglomeration.That is,utilize the advantages of resource endowments and implement the dislocation development strategy of Industrial Agglomeration area to optimize the spatial layout;rely on the Internet-plus-platform to create a unique industrial system in all regions of the province;upgrade the industrial innovation capability to promote the development of traditional industries'intellectualization and greening,and speed up the upgrading of the quality of the whole industry;improve the industrial development environment and intensify the opening-up to release the potential of private investment,expand industrial advantages and enhance economic competitiveness.
