The Study Of Industrial Agglomeration Of Shenzhen's Industry

As we know, in theory, economic globalization will weaken the regional advantage of different countries, making they have the same cost and decreasing the area factor's effect on capacity of competition. But, in real life, we find that some industries,having power capacity of competition in global market, always possess obvious regional feature, such as semiconductor & information industries in Silicon Valley, entertainment industries in Holly wood. That is to say, there is a close relation between industrial agglomeration and capacity of competition. Thus, research on industrial agglomeration is meaningful.Industrial agglomeration, which means the incessant centralization of the same or the similar industries in a district and makes this industry or the industries become the most important economic developing core in the district, is regarded as an important economic phenomenon in the world today. In China, industrial agglomeration has became the important power to drive the economic development since the 1990s', and gradually people have realized that the industrial agglomeration is very significant for the rationalization of Chinese economic distribution, the optimization of resource collocating, the forming of regional competition advantages and even the ordinal and harmonious development of regional industries.Now the phenomenon of industrial agglomeration becomes an important power to develop China economy. And the change of them will influence the development of our country. So it will be useful for providing policies and developing stratagem to research on industrial agglomeration and also to provide some valuable reference for the economic development of Shenzhen province to study this subject.This thesis first introduces the theory of industrial agglomeration in system. Then it evaluates the degrees of industrial agglomeration about the industries in Shenzhen province based on the practical economic conditions. In the end it puts forward policy suggestions on how to promote the development of industrial agglomeration in Shenzhen province.
