Since the 1970 s,the world economy has shown a trend of transition from “industrial economy” to “service economy”.The producer service industry has become the most important driving force in regional economic development, especially with the rapid development of information technology. The productive function of the service has gradually received the attention of the academic community.More and more scholars have conducted extensive research on the development of the productive service industry from multiple levels and multiple perspectives.Under the background of “Internet +”,the level of informatization played a crucial role in the long-term development of the producer service industry. On the basis of previous studies, this paper uses a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research to logically clarify the internal mechanism of informationization level for the development of productive service industry, and use the method of quantitative analysis to test it.First of all, this paper introduces the existing researches on the level of informatization and the producer service industry at home and abroad, and finds that informationization has a negligible impact on the development of the producer service industry, and then, from the scale and structure of the producer service industry. And the spatial structure to explore the role of the level of informatization, and find that the level of informatization will affect the scale of the productive service industry by changing the existing combination of production factors, reducing the cost of knowledge transfer, reducing the transaction link, and enhancing the quality of decision-making.By changing the level of human capital and stimulating new service formats to change the hierarchical structure of productive services;promoting the agglomeration of productive services through the three major effects of learning effects, network effects and economies of scale.Based on the analysis of theoretical mechanism, this paper first establishes an informationization index system consisting of three levels and four categories of indicators, comprehensively measures the information level of each region and analyzes the development status of China's informatization.Secondly, the hierarchical structure of the production service industry and the spatial structure measured by the location entropy are divided. Finally, the panel data regression analysis method is used to explore the impact of the informationization level of China's provinces in 2005-2016 on all levels of the productive service industry. The empirical results show that the level of informatization shows high significance to the scale, hierarchy and spatial structure of the producer service industry. That is to say,the level of informatization can not only promote the growth of the scale of the producer service industry, but also the level. The structure has a good impetus and will have a positive momentum for the accumulation of productive services. Finally, the paper draws the following conclusions: The level of informatization has a significant impact on the development of productive service industry.China should seize the opportunity to vigorously develop China's productive service industry, promote the integration of information technology in the productive service industry, and increase the diversified investment in informatization of the production service industry enables information technology to provide a long-term impetus for the longterm development of the production service industry.
