Research On "Domestic Value-added" And Its Influence Factors Of Manufacturing Industry In Fujian Province

In today’s world,with the rapid development of economy and the continuous upgrading of international division,the global industrial chain has become a major feature of international trade.Due to the increase of intermediate goods,the traditional trade accounting methods can not reflect the actual trade scale of a country truly.Compared with the macro calculation method based on the input-output table,the micro accounting method of the domestic added value on the enterprise level can reflect the domestic content of a country’s export continuously and accurately.By using industrial enterprises database of 2000-2013 and customs database of2000-2008,the author measure domestic added value of the manufacturing industry in fujian province,analyse variation trends of domestic added value over time,and make research from muli-aspects,including industry,region,the way of trade,the nature of enterprise and the scale of enterprise.At the same time,the paper combined the share of output of each region and industry with DVAR for analysis,and analyzed and predicted the DVAR after 2008 through the change trend between the two.Then,taking the DVAR of 20 sub-industries of the manufacturing industry in fujian province as the explained variable,five explanatory variables were selected from various aspects to conduct an empirical test on the influencing factors of the domestic added value of the manufacturing industry in fujian province.Finally,according to the conclusions of this paper,the author put forward the corresponding policy suggestions.Through the above research,this paper comes to four conclusions.First,on the whole,from 2000 to 2008,the rate of domestic added value in fujian province gradually increased from 55% to 75%.Second,on the industry level,the DVAR of high-tech industries is always lower than that of other technology industries,and some industries have mismatches between DVAR and the share of output.Third,on the regional level,DVAR of most regional manufacturing industries is increasing,but there is a mismatch between DVAR and the share of output in fuzhou,xiamen andlongyan.Fourthly,on the enterprise level,DVAR of large enterprises,foreign-funded enterprises and processing trade enterprises is low but has a large increase.Fifth,in terms of empirical analysis,foreign direct investment and economies of the scale play a positive role in promoting the domestic added value of manufacturing export in fujian province,while the input of labor and capital intensity play a negative role in DVAR of fujian province.In addition,this paper put forward relevant suggestions on the input of new elements,the optimization and upgrading of enterprise and the improvepment of high-tech enterprises.
