| With the advantages of labor force and resources,China’s manufacturing industry actively participates in the international division of labor and realizes the rapid expansion of export scale.However,due to the lack of core technology,China’s manufacturing industry is mainly engaged in the low-end processing and assembly links of the global value chain,and its export domestic value added is far lower than the export scale.The input servitization of manufacturing industry is an important approach to industrial transformation and upgrading.Service elements contain rich knowledge capital and human capital,which can play a pivotal role in value creation and value increment,and is conducive to promoting the manufacturing industry to climb to both ends of the global value chain,so as to improve the profit level in the international division of labor.Based on this,it is very important to study the influence of input servitization of China’s manufacturing industry on export domestic value added to reverse the development dilemma of "low-end locking" in the global value chain and "high volume and thin profit" in export.This thesis uses the sample data of China’s manufacturing industry segmentation during2007-2021 to discuss the influence of input servitization of China’s manufacturing industry on export domestic value added.Firstly,based on the existing literature at home and abroad,the concepts of input servitization of manufacturing industry and export domestic value added are defined.Secondly,by combing the theories of global value chain,transaction cost and technology innovation,combined with the existing research,summarizing the action paths of input servitization of China’s manufacturing industry affecting export domestic value added.Thirdly,the present situation is analyzed around input servitization and export domestic value added of China’s manufacturing industry,and the existing problems affecting the enhancement of export domestic value added of manufacturing industry are discussed deeply.Finally,the two-way fixed effect model is used to empirically analyze the influence of input servitization of China’s manufacturing industry on export domestic value added,carries out heterogeneity analysis on the influence of different service factors input of different manufacturing types on export domestic value added,and conducts influence mechanism tests.The findings are as follows:(1)The input servitization level of China’s manufacturing industry is low,and mainly concentrated in the field of distribution and transportation services.China’s manufacturing industry is characterized by the situation of "high quantity and low profit" in export,the difference of export domestic value added of manufacturing industry segmentation is obvious.(2)The input servitization of China’s manufacturing industry,labor productivity and foreign direct investment have significant promoting effects on export domestic value added,while the capital intensity has a significant inhibiting effect on export domestic value added,the effect of industry size is not significant.(3)The input servitization of all manufacturing types can significantly increase the export domestic value added.For labor-intensive manufacturing industry,transportation,telecommunications,finance,and business services can significantly increase export domestic value added,distribution services have a significant inhibiting effect.For capital-intensive manufacturing industry,transportation,finance and business services can significantly increase export domestic value added.For technology-intensive manufacturing industry,transportation and financial services can significantly increase export domestic value added.(4)The input servitization of manufacturing industry improves export domestic value added through cost reduction and technological innovation.Therefore,this thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of optimizing the export trade structure of manufacturing industry and strengthening differentiated services input. |
