An organization's innovative performance can be determined or influenced by the working climate it offers its employees.Whenever an organization provides a working climate that is creativity oriented,the innovative performances of that organization will increase and whenever the working climate is one that relies of some old routine customs or style of work,such an organization will either be less innovative or noninnovative at all.We live in a world where change is ever constant and individual perceptions and demands keep upgrading too.As such,organizations or companies too need to keep improving upon the quality of products and services they provide so as match the market demands.It is advisable therefore for organizations willing to stay in business to provide their employees with an enabling climate that will boost their creative ability as it is this ability to be creative that will further determine their innovative performance rates.This thesis had as objective to evaluate the mediating role of the dimensions of the situational outlook questionnaire(SOQ)between the creative climate and innovative performance in assessing the nature of the creative climate within Premier Games Mutengene.This was done by sampling the opinions of 134 workers within the company,using questionnaires whose data was later processed in order to get results which indicated some significance in the relationships between creative climate and positive dimension,positive dimensions and innovative performance,conflict and innovative performance.There was no significance in the relationships between creative and innovative performance and that between creative climate and conflict.Premier Games Mutengene(PGM)is one of those companies faced with a market with specific and complex needs.This research therefore also had as aim to identify those factors or dimensions that will have an influence on the innovative performance of PGM.There will be no meaningful performance in innovation without creativity.It is therefore a precondition for companies wishing to be prosperous in the near future to create a climate that influences both idea creation and idea implementation as both processes must work “hand in hand”.
