The Measurement Of Chinese Wooden Furniture Export Trade Potential In The View Of China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor

The economic corridor of China,Mongolia and Russia is one of the important plates of the "one belt and one road" initiative.It is not only a manifestation of the realistic relationship between the three countries,but also a means to stimulate each other's economic growth.As far as wooden furniture is concerned,Russia is rich in forest resources,Mongolia is backward in wood processing industry,China has abundant funds and mature wood processing technology,and the trade among the three countries is complementary to facilitate mutual cooperation;China,Mongolia and Russia are all WTO member countries,and have a good trading environment.From 1996 to 2016,the average annual growth rate of China's wood furniture exports to Mongolia and Russia reached 22.63%and 19.28%respectively.Thus,Mongolia and Russia have gradually begun to become potential export markets of wood furniture in China.In addition,the main import source of Mongolian wooden furniture is China.In 2016,Mongolian imports of Chinese wooden furniture accounted for more than 50%of the total import of Mongolian wooden furniture.There is a phenomenon that the import concentration is too high.Once the demand for Mongolian imports of wooden furniture changes,to a large extent,it will affect the stable development of China's export trade of Mongolian wooden furniture.Compared with Mongolia,although the volume of wood furniture imported by Russia is relatively large,the import of Chinese wood furniture from Russia in 2016 accounted for only 6.3%of the total import of wood furniture.First,the export of Chinese wood furniture to Russia may not match the commodity structure of wood furniture imported by Russia.Second,Chinese wood furniture competes with other countries'products in the Russian market.Lower force.Therefore,by studying the market structure of China's export of wood furniture to Mongolia and Russia,and analyzing the factors affecting China's export of wood furniture to Mongolia and Russia and its trade potential,it can help wood furniture enterprises to export wood furniture to provide solutions,and provide theoretical basis for developing China's export of wood furniture to Mongolia and Russia.Based on the existing research results and theoretical basis,this paper analyses the current situation and existing problems of China's wood furniture export to Mongolia and Russia from 1997 to 2016.It points out that China's wood furniture export market to Russia is still under?developed,China's wood furniture export to Mongolia is too concentrated,Vietnam's wood furniture competitiveness is enhanced,and so on.Secondly,by using Herfindahl index,export evenness index and diversity index,the concentration degree of China's export market structure of wood furniture to Mongolia and Russia is calculated and analyzed.Then,through the use of matching index,profitability index and Lawrence index,the matching degree between China's export commodity structure of Mongolian and Russian wood furniture and Mongolian and Russian wood furniture import commodity structure is calculated and analyzed.Finally,the gravitational model is used to analyze the main factors affecting China's export of wooden furniture to Mongolia and Russia,and to further calculate its export potential.Based on the analysis of the calculation results,some feasible suggestions are put forward for the development of China's export trade of Mongolian and Russian wooden furniture.Based on the market structure and influencing factors of various types of wooden furniture exported by China to Mongolia and Russia,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the existing problems in the export market structure of wooden furniture exported by China to Mongolia and Russia,as well as the export factors and trade potential.It is hoped that this study can provide a theoretical analysis of China's export trade of wooden furniture to Mongolia and Russia.
