How to effectively stimulate employee creativity has become a problem and difficulty for enterprises.Many scholars have done a lot of research on individual creativity from the angle of leadership characteristics,human resource management practices,team knowledge sharing,etc.Though they explain how to improve employee creativity through solving problems,they neglect the fact that employees may fail to innovate when they are afraid of making mistakes.In other words,many researches on creativity did not focus on figuring out question that why people dare to innovate in the organization.At the same time,some scholars have introduced error management climate to verify its role in promoting employee creativity from the perspective of positive error.On the one hand,most of them only explore the relationship between knowledge management and individual creativity basing single perspective of error behavior or self-efficacy.On the other hand,many of them do not effectively distinguish the error management climate from individual' perception of error climate in the organization.However,they mean two different things in fact.Therefore,this article intends to use the work passion,a connotation of "emotion-evaluation-behavior",to explain the impact of the error management atmosphere on employee creativity in a more integrated perspective.The Team identification is explored as the moderating variable of between error management climate and work passion.Based on literature review,the article relies on self-determination theory,creativity component theory and social identity theory to build a moderated mediation model for the influence of error management climate on employee creativity.After removing high-risk occupations such as doctors,aviation controllers,drivers,etc.,310 valid questionnaires were collected.The model hypothesis is tested by SPSS\MPLUS\HLM software.The article draws the following conclusions:(1)The error management climate has a positive impact on employee creativity.(2)The error management climate can have a positive impact on the work passion.Besides,error management climate can have a positive impact on the harmonious work passion and a negative impact on the obsessive work passion.(3)Error management climate can influence individual creativity through work passion.What's more,the error management climate can enhance individual creativity through promoting employees' harmonious passion while enhancing individual creativity through suppressing obsessive passion.(4)Team identification can adjust the relationship between error management climate and work passion.Specifically,the higher the level of team identification,the weaker the effect of error management climate on obsessive work passion.However,level of team identification exert no influence on the relationship between error management climate and harmonious work passion.
