With the rise of a new round of industrial change, the upgrading of the global industry and the deepening and reshaping of the global value chain, the manufacturing industry has once again become the focus of global attention,as the display of the economic strength of various countries.Although China is a big manufacturing country, the manufacturing industry is still "big but not strong",and there is still a big gap between China and the manufacturing power. Therefore,"made in China 2025" proposed for the first time how to realize the transformation from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power, and started from the top ten areas of medium and high-tech industries to upgrade the traditional manufacturing industry through the deep integration of informatization and manufacturing industry. The purpose of enhancing the innovation ability of manufacturing industry and its international competitiveness is to occupy an important place in the global value chain.Based on the(WIOTS)data of the 2016 edition of the world input-output table provided by the world input-output database(WIOD),and quoting the value-added trade decomposition method of Wang et al.,this paper first modifies the traditional dominant comparative advantage index. The traditional dominant comparative advantage index and the modified dominant comparative advantage index are compared from two aspects of theoretical and practical results. It is found that whether from the theoretical or empirical results, the modified dominant comparative advantage index can better reflect the strengths and weaknesses of the industrial sector in the global value chain or the corresponding international competitiveness than the traditional dominant comparative advantage index.Further combined with the top ten industrial fields of "made in China 2025" and the structural analysis database(STAN),"National Economic Industry Classification" and "International Standard Industrial Classification" provided by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD),the world input is judged. The industries in the output table(WIOTS)that are closely related to the top 10 areas of manufacturing in China,Finally, taking the 15 middle and high-tech industries as the research object, the modified dominant comparative advantage index MRCA and position index GVC_Ps,are calculated and based on the comprehensive analysis of the two results. These 15 middle and high-tech industries are further divided into "basic industries","strategic industries","gold industries" and "late-developing industries",and the dominant comparative advantage index of these four types of industries is taken as the explained variable. To establish a spatial econometric model,This paper studies the influence mechanism of the dominant comparative advantage of these four kinds of industries from the aspects of their position in the global value chain, the degree of participation in the global value chain, the input of industrial production factors and so on.According to the results of the model, this paper analyzes how to enhance the competitiveness of these four types of industries in the world. It is found that the dominant comparative advantage index of the four types of industries has obvious spatial dependence, that is,the dominant comparative advantage index of industries in neighboring countries has a significant influence on each other. There are also obvious differences in the performance of the influencing factors. Finally, from the aspects of integration into the global value chain, industrial positioning, resource allocation, industrial upgrading and "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy, this paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions on how to improve the competitiveness of "made in China 2025" related industries in the world.
