Research On The Ability Of Undertaking Industrial Transfer In Western Regions

Industrial transfer is a hot issue of concern to domestic regional economists and scholars in related fields since the introduction of the Western Development Strategy.Promoting the orderly transfer of industries is an effective way to achieve coordinated regional development.President Xi Jinping(2017)proposed to strengthen measures to promote the development of the western region and promote regional coordinated development.The main body of industrial transfer includes industrial transferors and industrial undertakers.The western region is an important industrial transfer ground.Correct understanding of the ability to undertake industrial transfer is conducive to the provinces in the western region to seize opportunities and effectively introduce industries suitable for local economic development.Make its own industrial structure optimized and upgraded.This paper takes the measurement of the ability of the 11 provinces in the western region(excluding Tibet)to undertake industrial transfer,and then explores how to take advantage of the advantages of each region,accurately build the platform and carrier,promote the optimization and upgrading of the western region,and promote regional coordinated development.Firstly,it sorts out the research results and theories of industrial transfer and the ability to undertake industrial transfer,and puts forward the research theme of this paper.Secondly,it takes the social fixed assets investment,GDP,and the scale of domestic and foreign investment as reference indicators to compare and analyze the basis of industrial transfer in western region.Thirdly,with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics,using factor analysis method,25 indicators were selected to quantitatively analyze the ability of undertaking industrial transfer in the western region,and the scores and rankings of four provinces to undertake four decomposition and comprehensive capabilities of industrial transfer were obtained.The cluster analysis method is used to divide the western region into three types of regions,namely,regions with strong,weak and weakest industrial transfer capability.Finally,targeted recommendations for the three regions to improve,strengthen and construct industrial transfer capabilities are proposed.
