Talent cultivation has risen to the national strategy.To the companies,training and retaining talents is their core work.Moreover,a well-established salary system and corresponding human resources support in the management system are not only the foundation of the company's long-term development,but also the core power to make the company invincible in the market competition.This paper takes HHWY Technology Company as an example,and uses basic theoretical knowledge to conduct intensive study on the problems in the company's salary system,and to design a set of scientific salary system.The design and implementation of the new system will play a strategic meaning in employee motivation and long-term sustainable development of the company.Through the study of the relevant theories of salary and salary system,it is found that the current salary system of HHWY Technology Company cannot meet the needs of the company's strategic development.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that the problems existing in the company's salary system are mainly focused on the incomplete system,the disorderly state of the salary system,and lacking reasonable basis.Salary system standards are not unified.A number of different departments adopt the same salary model,and the model is not adjusted according to different positions and levels.KPIs in the salary system are not set scientifically nor timely.The performance indicators are not quantified,and multiple indicators rely on subjective scoring.The elements of salary structure are incomplete with only monthly salary and year-end bonus.All these lead the employees to a lack of positive working state.Lack of long-term incentive system for core employees and senior executives.The salary system is not formulated in line with the company's development direction and strategic objectives.A new salary system is designed on the basis of company's strategic development goals.This design includes five sections,which are salary structure,positions and ranks standard and evaluation,performance appraisal,annual bonus and salary determination.After the design and execution of the new salary system,the company has received relatively positive comments.It boosted the employees' morale and enhanced the company's competitiveness.Although HHWY Technology Company is a small and medium-sized enterprise,there are many similarities in the salary system among many science and technology service companies and small and medium-sized enterprises in China.The design of this salary system can be used for reference by small and medium-sized enterprises.
